Story
HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a young (1-2) black lab-flat coat retriever-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! (Shelter says I'm 3 but I act like a 1-year-old puppy even in the way I walk.) I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother Rooster, a flat-coat retriever, who also needs a home. We do not have to be adopted together. I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I weigh about 50-55 lbs. I'm currently still in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M COFFEE! I'm a 5-month-old black retriever mix puppy in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a scary California shelter along with my littermate Coffee (male), who also needs a home! We are small boys so far -- only 25-30 pounds each -- though we clearly have a way to go to reach our full potential! I am a shy boy who would love nothing more than to feel safe and secure, play with my pals, get a few belly rubs and walks now and then. I am not neutered yet because I am too young, so will need to be neutered when the vet says I'm ready. Please email for an application.

Story
With a name like Happy, the names says it all. If you have already watched his video you will know- this boy is truly happy. From the hop in his run to the one ear up one ear down cuteness of his face, this boy can chase off the worst blues just by being him and yours. If you haven't seen his video, watch it now then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/El8zDhURQU8 Happy is estimated to be 1 year old, possibly a flat-coated retriever, and he weighs 42 lbs. Of course we cannot guarantee age or breed but those are not the details that make Happy a keeper. A few things that make him a dream boy… he is dog-friendly, a daycare regular, a fetch champion and a french-fry enthusiast! Happy is a regular at doggie daycare, and he thrives around other dogs. His play style is goofy, cheerful, and easily described as “let’s be friends!” energy. He would absolutely love living with another playful dog not only for companionship, but because it’s where he shines most, and honestly, you’ll enjoy it just as much. If your dog loves fetch, chase, silly antics, or just being around other dogs, Happy will fit right in. He is best described as happy-go-lucky and playful. He LOVES toys, plays fetch with enthusiasm, and brings the cutest, innocent, puppyish charm to everything he does. For all his playful energy outdoors, Happy settles in beautifully inside the home. He is respectful, easygoing, well-mannered, and a pro at relaxing after a good play session (a personal fave quality.) He’s also great in the car, he rides calmly and politely, and loves to call shot-gun! While your out and about together he will happily tag-along for a snack run but insider tip- he will, unlike most dogs, pass on a pup cup, but a french fry? He will never refuse a french fry! He’s treat-motivated, attentive, and already knows sit, down, and shake. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he’s the type of dog who will happily learn anything your teaching. He could adapt to an apartment with regular outlets for exercise and play, but he’d be thrilled in a home with a yard where he can play fetch, run and stretch his legs. As for cats, Happy loves them, as playmates, which means chasing and pawing- so not the best match. A no-cat household will be best. Let’s recap the reasons we love him! Starting with the most basic- because he is pure sunshine.Happy is full of joy, full of playful energy, and ready to pour all of that into his forever family. He’s loving, expressive, loyal, and wonderfully silly- the perfect companion for someone who wants a best friend who brings happiness everywhere he goes. If you’re craving the companionship of a dreamy dog with a side of joy, laughter, fetch sessions, and wagging tails, this is your boy! He is ready to be the one who always greets you like you’re the best part of his day… Ready to make your house a Happy home?
