Story
HI - I'M GOOSE! I'm a 1-1/2-year-old flat coat retriever-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home! (Shelter paperwork says I'm 3 but I act like a puppy and still have puppy tendencies.) I was rescued from a crowded California shelter along with my brother, who recently got adopted. I am good with other dogs and a lovebug with people. I'm basically a happy, energetic boy who would love my own home where I can be walked, petted, taken on outings or road trips and given the love and attention I so deserve. I would do best with someone who works from home or who is retired but wants a younger dog. I weigh about 55-60 lbs. I'm currently in the Portland area and available to meet! Please email for an application.

Story
WOOF! I'M ROCCO! I'm a 2-year-old Border Collie-Flat-Coat mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I was impounded as a stray. I then was adopted, but returned less than 24 hours later as someone in the house had allergies. Fortunately I was rescued and now am ready for a foster or forever home! I have done great with other dogs and am a happy, playful boy. I love to play with other dogs and hang out with humans. I weigh 59 lbs. Could you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
Fig Fern is proof that sometimes the cutest things come in wonderfully confusing packages. At first glance, you'd swear she was still a puppy, complete with her fluffy coat, bright-eyed expression, and delightfully playful spirit. Then you spend a little time with her and realize this little lady has already mastered the art of being an easy, well-mannered companion. She somehow manages to be both adorable enough to make people do a double take and mature enough to fit seamlessly into everyday life. Go watch Fig Fern on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this petite-perfection-sweetheart. If tiny happy hops, fluffy ears, and stuffed toy enthusiasm sound like your kind of entertainment, you're in for a treat. https://youtu.be/PANfKoJlXKY Estimated to be around 3 years old, Fig is a rescue, so her breed and age are simply our best guess. What we know for certain is that she is a delightfully dainty 32 lbs, irresistibly fluffy, and somehow looks like she accidentally hit the "stay puppy forever" button. Fig has the kind of personality that's wonderfully easy to live with. She's playful without being nonstop, affectionate without being demanding, and happy to join whatever the day has in store. Whether she's proudly carrying around one of her beloved stuffed toys, following you from room to room, or curling up nearby after a little play session, she has a way of making a house feel instantly warmer. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and has the easygoing social skills that make sharing life with canine companions feel effortless. Whether she's making a new friend or simply coexisting peacefully, Fig brings a calm, friendly energy wherever she goes. She has spent her life with canine companionship and although she is confident and people oriented, she would love a home with a friendly, playful mate in addition to a loving family. Her foster family praises her wonderful house manners, and it's easy to see why. Fig settles into home life naturally, making her the kind of dog who feels less like a project and more like a longtime companion from the very beginning. She has that rare balance of playful fun and relaxed contentment that fits beautifully into so many different lifestyles. If you've been hoping to find a dog who's equal parts adorable, affectionate, playful, and wonderfully uncomplicated, Fig might just be your perfect match. She's the kind of little dog who quietly steals hearts without ever trying too hard. Fig is being fostered in a loving home and is ready to find a forever family of her very own. Story
HI - I'M JOHNNY, a 10-year-old pit/lab mix waiting for a foster or forever home. I'm super cute with my red & white coloring and my speckled ears! My ideal adopter is a single person who wants a companion, a pal for hanging out, walks, hikes, watching TV, car rides, napping. I love to play fetch, and I listen to basic commands. I tend to bond to one person who will be my soulmate, so couples may not be the best for me because I don't want to share the person I bond with and love. I love scratches and affection! I get bored if left alone too long, so best not to leave me out in the backyard for hours. I'm still quite agile and have been known to jump over a fence in my younger days. I'm not all that trustworthy around other dogs, especially male dogs, so it's best if I'm the only dog in the home. I'm still in good health and I'm basically looking for my forever companion to go for walks or hikes or simply watch TV and snuggle. I weigh about 70 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email me for an application

Story
HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally saved from a shelter many years ago, and just this past summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me and be patient, while I get adjusted to being loved. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, as I'm nervous in new situations, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. I weigh about 60 lbs. Can you please foster or adopt me? I'm currently still in California but can be transported to Portland. Please email for a foster or adoption application.

Story
HI - I'M WALLY! I'm a 2-year-old black lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. I had a bit of a rough start: I was rescued from a desert property where I and my littermates were starving and neglected. But we were rescued, and I've now recovered and am doing great! I am a love with people and other dogs and very playful. I also have a calm energy, and would do well in most homes. I weigh 50-55 lbs and am fully vetted, and ready to start my life with a person or people who love me. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon. Please email for an application.
