Story
Shadow was a stray and is the sweetest dog whom I rescued from the shelter because he was at risk. He is well behaved and doesn’t bark unless a stranger enters my home. He plays well with other dogs and walks calmly on the leash. He is around 1 1/2 yrs old so is still a bit of a puppy. He looks and behaves exactly like my former flat coated, which is wonderful, except he is only 30 lbs, so he’s about half the size of a pure bred flat coated retriever. I have no idea what he’s mixed with, but I regard him as a smaller version of a flat coated retriever. All potential adopters must have a vet reference, initial meet and greet (at least) and experience with raising dogs. It is a major responsibility and Shadow deserves a loving and stable home.

I got him3 years ago and for the past year and half I been travel 95% of the time I got him when my work didn’t require that much ! My mom help me but she is older and is getting hard for her, he deserve better life who can dedicate more time he love walks - parks - kidsHe competed 2 weeks in behavioral training and he is very good to follow commands !He gets along very well with female dogs only - not with males dogs all sizes or ages. Cats of other pets “ unknown “This is a hard decision for me to make but is the right decision for him!

Bruno was found roaming the street in Katy by a co worker that could not take him in, I opened my house to him and he is a really good dog! I however already have 2 dogs, one of whom is a Frenchie, they got into one altercation over food, and since then I can not stand the idea of it happening again, Bruno is loving, he is great with kids, very high energy, house trained, and listens well. He walks well on a leash and enjoys running around the yard, if you have one.
