Story
Beautiful Ember is a very affectionate, quirky girl who adores belly rubs. Ember does the most silly thing of running in between your legs demanding butt scratches. She is the perfect mix between a firecrackers one second and a couch potato the next! She will be happy sleeping on a couch or curling into bed with you. She's not a fan of the crate, but she will do well being left out with her toys. Ember is potty trained and will sometimes whimper to go outside so you know what she needs. She is very food motivated and has room to grow with any training techniques. Ember would be the perfect dog for a active family lifestyle who takes break watching movies on the couch where she can scooch in and get a head scratch. Ember would need to be introduced slowly with big dogs as she can be nervous at first, but if the vibe is good they will become the best of friends. She does request to fed separately always (including treats), so that there's no confusion as to what's hers. With smaller dogs she favors the ones who are less active and older best. She is not a fan of the little hyper ones. Start the conversation by applying to adopt Ember here: https://forgottencoastanimalrescue.org/adoption-app

Story
Black Jack is the sweetest boy! He’s very friendly and loves attention…especially in the form of belly rubs. He’ll happily lay all day if you’re rubbing his belly, but he typically has an average energy level. He’s very easy to handle and walks well on a leash without pulling. He already knows how to sit on command and will happily do so and smile while he waits for a treat. He’s very photogenic! He loves being around people and will sometimes jump up to give you a hug if he feels like he hasn’t been cuddled enough.

Story
Ava was found in a Northpointe neighborhood. Signs were put up in the area and she was posted on neighborhood sites. Sadly, no one claimed this pretty girl. Emmy’s Hope Rescue began sponsoring Ava in July 2020.   Ava is a very sweet, happy-go-lucky, even-tempered and affectionate big girl. She is very curious and has a high energy level. She loves to run and play fetch with balls, ropes and frisbees. When she is not fetching, then she likes to carry something around in her mouth. She loves to be petted, shake hands and give hugs. Ava needs a big yard to run around in and a loving, active family that’s experienced with big dogs.                                                                                                                                                                             Estimated birth date:  February 2019 Approximate weight:  70 lbs. If you would like to meet Ava, please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1. Live in the Houston area (no more than an hour's drive away). 2. Be 21 years or older. 3. Have a fenced yard. Fencing must touch the ground all the way around the yard. 4. We are looking for experienced pet owners. You must have at least 3 years of good vet history, with your current and / or past dogs. Story
Saint and Jude were found as strays. They have been with us for 8 months without any interest. They are very sweet boys who adore people. They are well mannered and aim to please. They love to play together but also know how to settle and take a nap close to each other. They would flourish in an active home with a family who would take them on long walks and play with them in the yard. Jude is great with other dogs. Saint is more selective - He is ok with females and young dogs.To meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process
