Story
LUCY- 1yr old. Lab mix My father pressured me and my mom to take a third dog in after one of his classmates was trying to rehome. However, while me and my mom were at work and school full time he did not have a job and did not put forth the work to train her in any way while we were gone for most of the day. Unfortunately, she has learned to be aggressive towards strangers and resource guard towards us. Besides resource guarding, she is a sweet dog and deserves someone that can work with her to make her the best dog she can be. Since we adopted her a year ago, my parents have since then got divorced and me and my boyfriend have her in our apartment. We can no longer keep her due to the other 2 dogs that we need to take in, since my family will not take them.

Story
Bella Nova is about 7 years old and was given to my husband and I (before we started having children) by a family friend. What first captivated us of her was her sweet look. She truly is a sweet and loving dog who loves children. Energetic and playful, but careful when needed. Unfortunately, our family is growing and we are finding it difficult to keep her. We would love to find her a home where she can be cared for and loved on!

Story
Zeke is a 12-year-old senior pup who still has plenty of energy and a huge love for life. We adopted him from a shelter when he was about 6 months old, and he has been a wonderful companion ever since. We're only rehoming him because we're starting travel contract work and can't give him the stable home he deserves. Zeke's favorite things are going on walks and getting scratches at the base of his tail—if you find that spot, you'll have a best friend for life! He's incredibly affectionate and loves spending time with his people. He knows commands including come, sit, stay, and "go to your bed," and he has great house manners. Despite being a senior, he still enjoys getting out for walks chilling in the same room as his family. He has some fear based aggression towards stramge new dogs, but gets along with our other dog splendidly. Zeke would love a home where he can enjoy plenty of affection, daily walks, and a family who will cherish him through his golden years.

Story
We adopted Tilly in April 2023. She very much wants to be with her people. She likes walks and outside time sunbathing, but is also perfectly content to be relaxing on a sofa. She is very protective of her people. She is trainable - she knows her basic commands (sit, stay, come, etc), she knows what "out the kitchen" means, we have taught her to ring a door bell when she is ready to come inside. She loves pets and belly rubs. Our reason for needing to rehome her is that we have a new baby in the house. Tilly and the new baby are not seeing eye to eye. The baby finds the dog fascinating and wants to play with her, but Tilly does not want to have anything to do with the new baby. She will growl and has snapped a few times. We have been very fortunate that nothing has happened but we do worry as the baby gets more mobile. We would recommend a home where she would be the only dog, as the shelter told us when we adopted her that she had issues with other dogs in the past.

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Rocky! 🐾 Tumbling into the spotlight with a ball in one paw is the one and only Rocky! Rocky and his sister Annie were sadly kicked out onto the streets before being rescued and brought into our care. Rocky is the cutest pup who loves to play all day. He loves playing fetch and knows how to “drop it” and “leave it,” placing the ball right at your feet. After a long day of fetch, Rocky loves to roll onto his back and ask for belly rubs. It’s hard to understand why anyone would abandon such a fun, loving dog, but Rocky is ready to find someone just as fun and loving to spend the rest of his life with. Are you that someone? ***

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Goober! 🐾 Sweet as candy and goofier than ever, the one and only Goober is here! Goober was rescued alongside two other dogs, all of whom were named after candy. Once you meet him, it's easy to see how this sweet, goofy pup earned his name. Goober is an adorable tan pup with floppy ears to match. He's the definition of a big baby, happily flopping his entire body onto you for belly rubs, completely unaware of his true size. True to his young, energetic nature, Goober loves to play, run around, and jump with excitement. Overall, he's a big, silly puppy who loves cuddles and affection. Goober has so much love to give and now he just needs to find his forever home. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Licorice 🖤 Some dogs leave an impression the moment you meet them, and Licorice is one of them. This handsome black Labrador mix was found surviving on the streets of Houston alongside his tiny companion. Despite everything they had endured, the pair were so gentle and well-mannered that the management at a local Walgreens welcomed them inside for the day, giving them a chance to escape the relentless Texas heat. Licorice has a quiet, loving soul. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t demand attention—he simply settles at your feet, patiently waiting for a few soft scratches and enjoying every moment spent by your side. His calm demeanor and affectionate nature make him an easy companion, whether you’re relaxing at home or enjoying a peaceful evening together. After surviving life on the streets, Licorice is ready to trade uncertainty for the comfort of a family who will love him forever. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a gentle heart, Licorice is waiting to meet you. Could your home be the happy ending this sweet boy has been waiting for? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Osborne! 🐾 Rocking and rolling into your heart is one half of our iconic duo, Osborne and Sharon. Osborne was found roaming the streets at a gas station with Sharon, and thankfully, both were rescued together. Sharon has since then been adopted, but Osborne still waits for his forever home. Like his namesake, Osborne is bold and daring. He loves to run around, play fetch, and swim. Osborne would be a great match for an adopter with a similar energy level that would enjoy interacting with him. When he’s tired, though, he’s happy to curl up beside your feet and rest. In foster care, Osborne thrived on structure to know the rights and wrongs to home life. He listened well and kept a clean environment. He loves to please and will learn any command for treats and pets. Osborne has also been around other dogs and does best with slow, monitored introductions. This rock star is ready to go on an adventure — are you ready to join him? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
