🐾 Meet Izzy! 🐾 ✨ Rescued Mom. Certified Snuggle-Hound. Squirrel Watch Extraordinaire. Izzy’s been with us since May 2023, and she’s ready to trade shelter life for sofa snuggles and backyard sniffari missions. 🛋️🌳 This beautiful hound mix came to Castoff as a young mama with seven newborn pups and a big ol’ heart full of hope. Her babies have all found homes — now it’s Mama Izzy’s turn to shine. 💚 She’s got that classic hound combo: 👃 A nose that never quits 🎾 A tail that never stops wagging 🧠 A brain that loves a challenge (Did someone say puzzle toy?) Izzy’s the shy-at-first type — but once she warms up, she’ll hit you with the “I’d do crimes for treats” eyes and politely request snacks on repeat. 🍪 She’s already learned “sit” and responds to “no” thanks to her training with the Colwell Rescue Program, and she’s totally housebroken! 🏡💪 She’d thrive with: ✔️ A tall fence (because she’s got Olympic-level sniffing goals) ✔️ An active, hound-savvy home ✔️ No cats or chickens — Izzy says, “Respectfully, those are snacks.” 🙃 ✔️ A patient human who understands that good things (and goofy hounds) take time 💕 She's playful, smart, and incredibly loyal — just waiting to be someone’s very best girl. Meet Tonks! Tonks is a little shy but wants to be your BFF with time. Tonks is a Treeing Walker Coonhound, Labrador Retriever mix who was born on 09/03/2020. When she came to TLC she was nervous but deep down, Tonks is a gentle pup and we know that she could live the very best life with an owner who has the time and patience to show her that there is so much kindness out there.Tonks` adoption fee is sponsored so that covers her spay, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (Tonks is negative!), and she is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you`d like to meet Tonks, feel free to fill out an adoption application at tlchs.org or you are welcome to make a match making appointment to come out and meet her. We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
