Adopt me, not just because I need a home, but because I have an abundance of love to give, and I'd like nothing more than to share it with you. This pet is eligible for the PETS FOR PATRIOTS adoption program. Adoption Process If you are ready to meet the pet, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your internet browser: https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10666/generic Once your application is submitted, we will contact the vet reference provided. A volunteer will schedule a phone interview with you. The interview and application help our fosters find their forever home by ensuring a good match.   The Louisa Humane Society does not have a brick and mortar facility, so all of our pets are in foster care. Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. The foster family can tell you all about her likes, dislikes, and little quirks.  The application and visit do not oblige you to adopt, but if you’re ready to take the pet home as your furry forever friend, her adoption fee is being sponsored by a generous volunteer. ##2038075##

Story
Meet Millie: Your Future Best Friend! Born in Texas on May 27, 2023, Millie entered the world as one of nine beautiful puppies. Her mom is believed to be a purebred Harrier, though her dad remains a mystery. Millie’s journey to our rescue began when her foster could no longer secure a permanent home for her and her siblings. Like many pups in Texas, she faced the heartbreaking risk of abandonment, starvation, or euthanasia. Thankfully, she found her way to us, and now she’s searching for a loving forever home. This smart, playful, and easygoing pup is expected to grow to about 50-60 pounds, making her the perfect family companion. She is fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped. If Millie has captured your heart, visit serendipityanimalrescue.org for more information or to submit an application!

These pups are in Fredericksburg, Virginia too!

Story
Meet Rudolph, He was days away from being put to sleep at a high kill shelter in North Carolina! This handsome guy was discarded as a hunting dog and left for animal control to pick him up running loose, without a place to call home. When no one came forward Rudolph quickly found himself on the urgent list. To make matters worse, Rudolph was heartworm positive. Thanks to a very dedicated foster family, Rudy's life was spared. They agreed to take him in until he found a good home. His heartworms have been treated and he is well on his way to recovery! While in foster care, the family discovered he is a very sweet boy and enjoys laying around in his dog bed. He also enjoys the great outdoors, so a fenced in backyard would be ideal for him to safely enjoy some fresh air! We recommend Rudolph go to a home without other dogs or dog's that are dominant like him. He is NOT aggressive with other dogs; he just likes to be the boss. He will need an understanding family that can work with him! We don't think this hound dog should go to a home with cats. If you are interested in this beautiful boy, please submit an application to be contacted! His foster home is currently located in North Carolina, but arrangements will be made for an approved adopter. APPLY HERE: https://form.jotform.com/230176841172150
