He's a little guy, but a bundle of energy. Very playful with other dogs. Good with kids. Mostly pee pad trained. Currently in need of new foster in So Cal or can be adopted anywhere in California. Adoption fee of $300 includes spay/neuter, core vaccines (DAPP and rabies), microchip, access to training videos. This is Bluebell. She came to us months ago in great distress after being chased at night by coyotes. She hid for over a day. The owner of the house said he saw and heard this, chased the coyote off, but could not find the little dog. The next day he found her behind an air conditioner unit. He called a neighbor who brought her to us. She loves to be indoors and gets stressed if outside too long. She is a little girl with much love to give. She is a 2 year old French Bulldog.

Tulip is the whole package with a little help from the right home 🏠 Tulip 🌷 is looking for her furever family, a home who understands her long term needs. We promise she is worth it!! Tulip came to us as an owner surrender in deplorable condition; skin and feet swollen and cracking with open sores, ear infection, and a heart murmur. After many tests and vet visits we discovered she also had an untreated thyroid condition. Now, Tulip is in much better shape...she can actually walk without pain!! Her long term care means monthly thyroid medications ($7/month), monthly allergy medication ($45/month), eye medication ($20/every 3 months) and a yearly echocardiogram. SCFBR will cover her next echocardiogram, due in July. Her foster mom gets all of Tulip's prescriptions at Costco!! At almost 6 years old, this girl has been through a lot. But, thanks to donations from our supporters, Tulip is happy and healthier than she has ever been! Tulip is potty-trained, vaccinated, micro-chipped, spayed and loves other dogs! Like we said...the whole package🥰. If you are interested in adopting Tulip, please complete an application. Her adoption donation has been discounted by 50% due to her ongoing medical needs. Tulip is fostering in Downey, CA and can be adopted out of state. Rescue does not cover transportation costs.

Guess who is ready for adoption?! Miss Cutie Pie🤩 CP was born in December of 2024 and weighs 20 pounds; a petite girl. She was surrendered to rescue when her mom fell onto hard financial times. At the time of surrender, she displayed an on again/off again limp. However, we had her patellas checked at her vet visit and she received a clean bill of health. Cutie gets along with dogs and every person she meets. She just an overall sweetheart of a girl (yes, she is potty-trained too!) If you would like to apply to meet Cutie, please go to www.socalfrenchbdrescue.org. We do expect to have many applications for CP, so expect us to close them soon. Cutie is fostering in Lancaster, CA and can be adopted out of state. Rescue does not cover those costs.

Reginald’s story is heartbreaking… but it’s also proof that even the most forgotten dogs can learn to feel safe again. ❤️ Reginald was found dumped far out in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by piles of trash. He survived by eating rocks and plastic, desperately trying to stay alive. He slept hidden beneath pieces of cardboard, trying to disappear from a world that had failed him. We don’t know how long he was out there alone, but by the time help arrived, he was in BAD shape. Then, completely by chance, a kind person spotted him while off-roading. Rescue efforts immediately began, and the moment Reginald realized he was finally safe… his entire body relaxed. Like he had been holding his breath for weeks waiting for someone to come. Now this sweet boy is thriving in foster care. He may still carry some physical and emotional scars from his past, but today he is healthy, loved, and so incredibly happy to be alive. Reginald is about 4 years old, 50 pounds, and we believe he’s a Bulldog/Staffordshire mix. He’s short, stocky, adorable, and full of personality. His favorite place in the world is curled up in your lap under a soft blanket. He loves sunbathing, going for car rides, and simply being near his people. When he gets excited, his whole body wiggles and he makes the cutest little grunting and whining noises that will absolutely melt your heart. Despite everything he’s been through, Reginald does not show an ounce of aggression. He has such a gentle, soft vibe about him that people immediately notice when they meet him. He can still startle easily with loud noises or sudden movements, which is understandable considering his past, but his heart is incredibly sweet. Because of his background, we do recommend slow and gradual introductions with other dogs so he can continue building confidence and feeling secure. We are not sure how he is with cats. Reginald doesn’t need perfection. He just needs someone who will never abandon him again. After everything he survived, we would love nothing more than to see this boy finally get the safe, loving forever home he’s always deserved. ❤️🐾

Rocky is an 8 YO bulldog who is full of life. He is in great health and has been an amazing dog for our family for the last 5 years. Rocky’s personality is goofy, loving and energetic. He loves snuggles, belly rubs and holding hands. He is very playful and loves playing with balls while also challenging someone in a game of tug a war! Like many Bulldogs, he has a few quirks. Rocky gets excited when visitors arrive and isn’t shy about alerting you to lawnmowers or other loud outdoor equipment. He would do best in a home with adults or older teens, as he has recently shown some resource-guarding behaviors around his bed and toys. This decision has not been made lightly. With our growing family and a new baby on the way, we want to find Rocky a home where he can receive the time, attention, and understanding he deserves. We are committed to finding the right match and are looking for a family that will love him as much as we do.
