Meet Heidi! She’s around 3 years old and we think she’s a Frenchie/Shepherd mix. She loves people and loves affection. She knows sit and let’s go (leash manners). She is crate trained and potty trained. She randomly gets the zoomies and it’s hilarious to watch her run around. She loves food and is very food motivated to learn new things. She a little shy at first but opens right up when offered a treat from new people. She’s currently in training and she starts public work next week where they will work with her on meeting strangers. She has met older kids (teenagers) and she gets excited to see them. She likes toys but only plays with them on her own, she doesn’t like fetch. She can’t wait to find her forever home! Meet adoptable Roxy! This sweet little 1 year old French Pitbull was found on the side a very busy road, and after living there for weeks, a Good Samaritan took her in. She’s around a year old. She is great with large dogs, and loves to play all day. Shes been with small dogs and cats, but plays a little too rough. She goes potty on command, and has no accidents. Roxy is crate trained and sleeps in it quietly all night. She knows come, sit, down, stay, leave it, watch me, no and shake. Walking on the leash is where she really shines, she’s quiet, well behaved, and enjoys exploring. She’s great in the car, and loves to go bye-bye. If you’re looking for a cuddle buddy, she’s your girl. She loves burrowing under the covers. Roxy is short and stocky (up to your knees), and 45 pounds. Her coat is a gorgeous velvety blue, and her eyes are a dazzling amber color. She has the best bat ears standing at attention. Roxy loves kids, and lived with two toddlers at her fosters house. She’s makes a great nanny dog. Because of being abandoned, Roxy has some separation anxiety, so she needs someone who is home a lot, or works from home. Rockie's owner took him in about a year earlier from another unfortunate situation, where his owner and constant companion passed away. Rockie loves his walks and belly rubs. He is well-behaved with people as long as there is not a toy around. Rockie is obsessed with toys. He is a good companion for people, yet may react to other dogs. For that reason, he needs to be the only dog in your home. Rockie is a very solid, sturdy dog that need an experienced owner to handle him, and should not be around young children. When Boomer came to us, we immediately saw his potential, and we also quickly observed that he was severely under-socialized with people, was very scared, and protected himself by biting. At 4.5 years old and 26.5 lbs., he’s a little guy who makes a big impact. Our team has been working with him tirelessly to help him adjust. He recently went out on a walk around a busy shopping mall and did well, and he can now be walked by multiple people without feeling terrified. Don't rush to apply, just yet, however. He still needs a patient adopter who will go slow with him, will read his body language and cues, and will take care of his physical issues. Like many Frenchies, he has many allergies and will need extra vet visits, medication, and an anti-allergy diet. He will be more expensive to care for than a typical dog. So, if you think you want him.... DO apply if you understand the unique challenges of Frenchies, understand dog behavior, are a top-notch calm and VERY patient confident leader, and can and will continue to set up Boomer to be a great, happy dog that doesn't ever bite again. Adorable 13 week old Shilo is ready for his loving forever home. Shilo weighs 13 pounds  of pure love and sweetness. He’s super smart and responds quickly to training. He’s currently learning how to walk on a leash without pulling, he knows how to sit and lay down, he waits patiently in his bed while his meal is being prepared, and he goes potty on command. He’s very playful and would do well with other playful, friendly dogs or as a single dog since he loves to snuggle with his humans. He’s very sweet with children and is currently living with a foster family that has 2 young children, a small dog, and chickens and he’s getting along very well with everyone. Shilo is a fun mix of pug, shitzu with a little staffie and will probably weigh 25-30 pounds when full grown ( His Mom weighs 25-30pounds) Shilo will make an amazing addition to the lucky family that gets to add this cutie pie to their loving and playful family.
