Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location. Hi! My name is Maddie, and I am a sweet French bulldog girl who is 5 years old, and I weigh 27 pounds. I get along with other dogs and I do need an adopter who is familiar with the needs of my breed. Children over 7 years old would be okay with me. If you have been waiting for a nice Frenchie, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Story
Meet Grayson – Your New Best Buddy! -I have some medical issues and will need ongoing care in a home- Say hello to Grayson, a 2-year-old French Bulldog weighing 23.8 pounds. This adorable little guy is as friendly as they come and loves to solicit pets and attention from everyone he meets! With his sweet personality and charming looks, Grayson is sure to win hearts wherever he goes. He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate — always ready for cuddles and companionship. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Big personality, huge heart! I am very energetic, full of life & always looking to party :) I love nothing more than being outside on a walk, or napping on the couch! I love the tennis courts, and I run from one side to the other investigating. I will always let you know if anyone is near your property, the presence of a squirrel, or even leaves falling. At the end of the day, I'm ready for bed and I prefer to sleep with a human. I can be a bit restless but it's worth all the snuggles. I am truly a total joy to be around, but I will require a lot of patience. I respond very well to any kind of positive reinforcement or redirection, if I need it. The more positive, the better. I'd do best in a home with a yard. Apartments will not be the best for me. General Socialization Notes: I love meeting new people, and I go a bit wild if I already know someone and they come for a visit. I need help with jumping up on people. I do really try hard but I just can't seem to stop myself. I bark a lot but can be easily redirected. I can be very reactive on the leash and will "charge" at other dogs and sometimes humans. It can be scary because of my intensity but mostly it seems I just want to say hi to other animals and humans. I love children! I have shown resource guarding, especially of my humans, so I'd need help with that. I can't wait to train with my humans! Does Murfey like other animals? Yes! I like them a bit too much, and will overwhelm them at times. I am super curious about cats and may chase them. I won't hurt them but I may overwhelm them too. Does Murfey like children? I LOVE children! I may do best with older children because with all my enthusiasm, I may knock little children over. Favorite Toys: I love stuffed animals but always eat the eyes. I sometimes play with a ball. I really enjoy a good puzzle/challenge toy, for example getting the lid off a vitamin bottle with peanut butter or cheese inside. There are a few synthetic chew toys I will gnaw on periodically. I enjoy gnawing on any type of chew. Ideal Forever Home: My ideal forever home would be having an adult or a couple who appreciate the uniqueness of a Frenchie! I'd love a home with older children. Due to my resource guarding, I'd always need monitoring. I could live in a home with another dog but I would also need monitoring due to my resource guarding. I'd also be fine in a home as an only dog to get all the love. I'd prefer a home with a yard so I can run and play all day.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Clifton, TX, litter of 4, approximately 10 weeks old, not yet fixed, too young for rabies vax. From the foster: Hi! I’m Cocoa 🐾 — the little princess of my litter (and yes, I know it).
I may be the smallest girl among a bunch of brothers, but don’t let that fool you—I’m small but mighty. I can absolutely hold my own in tug-of-war and keep up just fine when it’s time to romp around the yard. In fact, I’m usually the one who starts the fun. Running? Wrestling? A surprise game of chase? That was probably my idea. I’m curious about everything and love to explore, especially sneaking under furniture or squeezing into tiny spaces to see what treasures I can find. I’m also a very smart girl and already know to go potty outside. As soon as my paws hit the grass, I head right to my spot, take care of business, and—best part—earn a treat. I haven’t had any accidents indoors in days, so I’m off to a great start with house training! When playtime is over, I turn into the sweetest little cuddle bug. I love being held and resting my head on your chest—it’s my favorite spot. I’ve been growing up in a foster home with five kids (ages 7–13), so I’m very comfortable being picked up, passed around, loved on, and snuggled nonstop. I truly adore kids and would make an amazing family dog. I also live with a 2-year-old foster dog, and we get along great—though I’ll admit I do like to pounce on him to make sure he’s always ready to play. That means I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only or joining a home with another furry friend. I’m dreaming of a forever family who will soak up all my snuggles, laugh at my playful antics, and take me along on new adventures. If you’re looking for a confident, curious, cuddle-loving pup… I might just be your Cocoa. 🤎✨ www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

What we know: Transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Clifton, TX, litter of 4, approximately 10 weeks old, not yet fixed, too young for rabies vax. From the foster: Hi there, I’m Tank 🐾 — also known as Tankers or Mr. Tank (very important titles).
I’m one big puppy, but my heart is even bigger. I’m playful and curious, but I like to take a moment to observe before jumping into the action. Why rush, when you need to save energy for snuggling? And oh, do I love to snuggle. I’m a lap-curler extraordinaire and could happily spend hours getting ear scratches and belly rubs. I may be quieter than my littermates, but don’t let that fool you—I love being near my people and following them around so I never miss a chance for extra affection. When I really want attention, I have the cutest little whine that usually results in being picked up. (It works.) I’m a smart boy, too! I already know to go pee and poop outside and head straight to my spot as soon as my paws hit the grass. I haven’t had an accident indoors in days, and I’m highly motivated by treats—just saying. I’ve been living in a busy house with five kids (ages 7–13) who bring over a lot of friends to see me so I’m very comfortable being held, loved, and played with. I’m gentle, patient, and truly a family-friendly pup. I also share my home with a 2-year-old foster dog, and we get along great. That means I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only or joining a home with another furry friend. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm-natured puppy with soulful eyes, a snuggly personality, and a whole lot of love to give… I’d really love the chance to win you over. 💙 www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

I’m Oreo 🖤🤍 — and yes, I’m as sweet as my name.
I got it because of the adorable white stripe on my face and chest (people say it makes me extra irresistible). I’m a smart cookie, too! I already know how to sit most of the time, and I’m especially proud of my potty skills. I go pee and poop right away when we head outside, and I haven’t had a single accident indoors in days. I work hard… but I do accept treats as payment. 😉 When I’m not showing off my brains, I’m busy being a professional snuggler.
