Story
Hello, I'm Mike and I really enjoy playing with other dogs and enjoy being around people as long as they know a few guidelines. I absolutely LOVE to snuggle with people.  I really like if you'll play ball with me or take walks together and while I'm thinking about it, other kinds of toys are a lot of fun too.  I'm great at watching movies because it lets me perfect my couch potato skills.   While I like to cuddle and get into the personal space of my people, I don't necessarily like to have my space invaded.  I enjoy head pets and will let you know when I am overwhelmed. I am very vocal.  I do have some rules and I need structure from my humans so that I don't take advantage and know my boundaries.   I would do best in a home with a patient person who is willing to take things slowly with me and enforce good boundaries for me.  It's mostly small things that help give me structure like reminding me to walk through doorways last and sit for food and treats.  Because I am a work in progress, I would not do well with children. I am kennel and potty trained, and good with other pets.  I won't eat your favorite shoes or chew on the furniture, And, do I even need to mention how cute I am?  Just look at my overbite, I know, it's hard to resist. Are you interested in meeting me and seeing if I could be your good buddy?  Please click on my link for more information and let my friends at Demi's know when we can play ball. All dogs are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, heartworm tested (if over 6 months old) and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, bordetella, rabies(if age appropriate) ) ##1677280##

Please go to our website at www.milehighlabmission.com to find out more about this pet and to submit an adoption application.  Please DO NOT call or email us; all information about current dogs available, adoption donations, vetting, and this specific dog are on our website. We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have. Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Indy is a super sweet and endlessly fun Puggle who brings adventure to every moment! This girl is the perfect explorer, always curious and ready for action—whether she's tracking an interesting scent or investigating a squeaky toy. Indy combines the playful energy of a Beagle with the affectionate charm of a Pug. She’s guaranteed to make you laugh with her goofy antics and melt your heart with her gentle cuddles. If you're looking for a devoted, fun-loving companion who is ready for a life of joyful exploration, Indy is your perfect co-pilot! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.  Personality | Sweet, friendly and so happy. Her tail is always wagging and she's never met a dog she doesn't think is her instant best friend. She's also such a rascal, she will find items around the house and gently bring them to her foster Mom.A random plastic cup? A shoe? Sure. She never destroys the items, she's just sharing! Story | Indy and her 2 brothers found themselves in a Houston shelter and Mile High came to the rescue!Other Dogs | Great! She is in a foster home with 2 big dogs and loves them. She also has had playdates with small dogs and did great.Cats | No cats in her foster home. Children | No children in foster home, but with her sweet, gentle personality, she would most likely do fine.Training |She seems to be potty trained! She is also crate trained.Leash | Indy walks well on the leash! She loves to walk and her little legs can move.Activity Level | Moderate Health Notes | Healthy!Thank you! | Adoption Donations |  Our adoption donations are $475 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $425 for 1-6 years, $375 for dogs 7-10 years, and $250 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $525. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle.November 24, 2025, 12:33 am

Story
Meet Pugsley – Your New Best Buddy! Pugsley is a 7-year-old Pug weighing 20.1 pounds, and he’s every bit as charming as you’d expect! This friendly little guy loves people and has a happy, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to be around. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being part of the group, whether it’s hanging out or exploring together. With his sweet face and affectionate nature, Pugsley is always ready to make new friends—both human and canine! If you’re looking for a loving, social companion who will fill your home with warmth and smiles, Pugsley is the one for you. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Hi, I’m Luna! I'm 2 years old and a little on the heavy side; I need a family that will monitor my food and treats, but I promise I’m full of love and sweetness! I definitely could use some exercising. I love quiet corners where I can curl up and feel safe. Soft voices make me feel calm, and once you speak my name gently a few times, I’ll start to trust you. At first, I might be a bit shy—it takes me a little time to open up—but when I do, you’ll find a loyal friend who just wants to snuggle and share peaceful moments with you. I’ve lived with a 5-year-old before, so I’m okay with kids who understand me. I also want you to know, my previous family thought I wasn’t house trained, but since being at my rescue, I’ve had zero accidents, and I know how to use the doggie door like a pro. If you’re looking for a calm, devoted buddy to share quiet days and cuddles with, I’m your girl. Let’s find a cozy home where I can feel safe, loved, and treasured forever. Will you be my forever human?  If you would like to meet me or have any questions, please text or call Debbie at (720) 588-6809. Please complete an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com. ##2599084##
