Story
Hello, I'm Mike and I really enjoy playing with other dogs and enjoy being around people as long as they know a few guidelines. I absolutely LOVE to snuggle with people.  I really like if you'll play ball with me or take walks together and while I'm thinking about it, other kinds of toys are a lot of fun too.  I'm great at watching movies because it lets me perfect my couch potato skills.   While I like to cuddle and get into the personal space of my people, I don't necessarily like to have my space invaded.  I enjoy head pets and will let you know when I am overwhelmed. I am very vocal.  I do have some rules and I need structure from my humans so that I don't take advantage and know my boundaries.   I would do best in a home with a patient person who is willing to take things slowly with me and enforce good boundaries for me.  It's mostly small things that help give me structure like reminding me to walk through doorways last and sit for food and treats.  Because I am a work in progress, I would not do well with children. I am kennel and potty trained, and good with other pets.  I won't eat your favorite shoes or chew on the furniture, And, do I even need to mention how cute I am?  Just look at my overbite, I know, it's hard to resist. Are you interested in meeting me and seeing if I could be your good buddy?  Please click on my link for more information and let my friends at Demi's know when we can play ball. All dogs are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, heartworm tested (if over 6 months old) and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, bordetella, rabies(if age appropriate) ) ##1677280##

HIGHLIGHTS -Heartworm positive, may require medical follow up after treatment Duncan is a spunky and lovable pug with a big personality in a small package. He is friendly, sweet, and food motivated, which makes him eager to please and a joy to spend time with. Duncan gets along well with other dogs and would make a wonderful companion to chill and hang out around the house—he enjoys being part of the family’s daily routine and soaking up affection. Duncan is heartworm positive and will need ongoing medical follow-up to complete his treatments, so he will need a family ready to support his health needs. With a little care and attention, Duncan is ready to be a loving, loyal member of a patient and caring home. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Clifton, TX, litter of 4, approximately 10 weeks old, not yet fixed, too young for rabies vax. From the foster: Hi! I’m Cocoa 🐾 — the little princess of my litter (and yes, I know it).
I may be the smallest girl among a bunch of brothers, but don’t let that fool you—I’m small but mighty. I can absolutely hold my own in tug-of-war and keep up just fine when it’s time to romp around the yard. In fact, I’m usually the one who starts the fun. Running? Wrestling? A surprise game of chase? That was probably my idea. I’m curious about everything and love to explore, especially sneaking under furniture or squeezing into tiny spaces to see what treasures I can find. I’m also a very smart girl and already know to go potty outside. As soon as my paws hit the grass, I head right to my spot, take care of business, and—best part—earn a treat. I haven’t had any accidents indoors in days, so I’m off to a great start with house training! When playtime is over, I turn into the sweetest little cuddle bug. I love being held and resting my head on your chest—it’s my favorite spot. I’ve been growing up in a foster home with five kids (ages 7–13), so I’m very comfortable being picked up, passed around, loved on, and snuggled nonstop. I truly adore kids and would make an amazing family dog. I also live with a 2-year-old foster dog, and we get along great—though I’ll admit I do like to pounce on him to make sure he’s always ready to play. That means I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only or joining a home with another furry friend. I’m dreaming of a forever family who will soak up all my snuggles, laugh at my playful antics, and take me along on new adventures. If you’re looking for a confident, curious, cuddle-loving pup… I might just be your Cocoa. 🤎✨ www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

What we know: Transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Clifton, TX, litter of 4, approximately 10 weeks old, not yet fixed, too young for rabies vax. From the foster: Hi there, I’m Tank 🐾 — also known as Tankers or Mr. Tank (very important titles).
I’m one big puppy, but my heart is even bigger. I’m playful and curious, but I like to take a moment to observe before jumping into the action. Why rush, when you need to save energy for snuggling? And oh, do I love to snuggle. I’m a lap-curler extraordinaire and could happily spend hours getting ear scratches and belly rubs. I may be quieter than my littermates, but don’t let that fool you—I love being near my people and following them around so I never miss a chance for extra affection. When I really want attention, I have the cutest little whine that usually results in being picked up. (It works.) I’m a smart boy, too! I already know to go pee and poop outside and head straight to my spot as soon as my paws hit the grass. I haven’t had an accident indoors in days, and I’m highly motivated by treats—just saying. I’ve been living in a busy house with five kids (ages 7–13) who bring over a lot of friends to see me so I’m very comfortable being held, loved, and played with. I’m gentle, patient, and truly a family-friendly pup. I also share my home with a 2-year-old foster dog, and we get along great. That means I’d be perfectly happy as your one-and-only or joining a home with another furry friend. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm-natured puppy with soulful eyes, a snuggly personality, and a whole lot of love to give… I’d really love the chance to win you over. 💙 www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

I’m Oreo 🖤🤍 — and yes, I’m as sweet as my name.
I got it because of the adorable white stripe on my face and chest (people say it makes me extra irresistible). I’m a smart cookie, too! I already know how to sit most of the time, and I’m especially proud of my potty skills. I go pee and poop right away when we head outside, and I haven’t had a single accident indoors in days. I work hard… but I do accept treats as payment. 😉 When I’m not showing off my brains, I’m busy being a professional snuggler. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite, and I’m always happy to curl up with my people. I’ve been living in a house with five kids (ages 7–13) and they have lots of friends come see me, so I’m very comfortable being held, loved, and played with. Translation: I’m a total family dog. What I’m dreaming of now is a forever family who has time to play, cuddle, and teach me all about life’s most important things—like squeaky toys, walks, and how to be the very best dog ever. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, well-socialized puppy with a heart full of love… I might just be your Oreo. 🐾💕 www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
