She is is extremely playful, an excellent jumper, and has a level of agility you don’t often see in bulldogs — she’s fast, fun, and full of personality. Piper genuinely enjoys activity and movement. As a “test run” she recently completed a 1.25-mile jog on leash in about 20 minutes, and then came home with energy to spare and happily played with the other dogs! She truly loves dog-to-dog play and enjoys having canine friends to romp around with. And while she loves action, Piper is also sweet and affectionate. Yes, I have some vision issues, but I am literally the best dog ever. I’m officially starting my search for my forever family, so let me tell you why you’re going to fall completely in love with me. First things first, I love everyone and everything. Dogs, kids, strangers, you name it. I am a total couch potato and a professional snuggle bug. If you’re looking for a wild party girl, I’m not your match. Those days are behind me. These days, I spend my time being my foster mom’s shadow (think Velcro), owning the couch like it’s my full-time job, stepping outside for a little fresh air, and then heading straight back to my throne. When my foster siblings want to wrestle, I let them start the game and usually fall asleep halfway through. I am a lover, not a fighter 🥰 I do have cataracts in both eyes and take daily eye drops since I’m not a great candidate for surgery. Don’t worry, though. I am AMAZING at it. I sit right next to my foster mom, know the routine, and take my drops like a champ. No wrestling required anymore. I will need these drops for life, but I promise I make it easy. Even with limited vision, I don’t let it slow me down or keep me from being part of the family. I love having other dogs around to help guide me, and I happily follow my four-legged friends everywhere. If you’re not into stage-five clingers, I may not be your girl, but if you want a devoted companion who sticks close, I’m perfect. Once I learn my surroundings, I gain confidence quickly and do great. I can handle a few stairs just fine, but lots of stairs make me a little nervous, so a mostly single-level home would be ideal. I don’t need a fenced yard. I walk beautifully on a leash, and honestly, I never want to be far from you anyway. I know the good life when I see it, and staying close to my people is where it’s at ❤️ I’m a 4-year-old babe who truly loves being loved. I’m pretty sure my real name is Angel Girl, because that’s what my foster family calls me. My hearing is excellent, my nose is incredible, and I like to think I could solve crimes if needed. When you can’t see perfectly, your other superpowers get even stronger 😉 I am gentle, affectionate, special, and full of love. I deserve a family who will cherish me, spoil me, and treat me like the queen I am. Hi there, I'm Vernon! I am a super snuggly sweetheart. I have the the softest, rabbit-like fur you’ll ever touch. I'm a bulldog mix with the cutest underbite, really, I'm a total cuddlebug and love nothing more than curling up close for a nap—or playing joyfully with other dogs. Before rescue, I was surviving as a stray on the streets for months, too scared to trust despite many kindhearted attempts. When I finally decided it was okay to trust and taken in, I had some serious wounds from life outside — I got some TLC, antibiotics, and love. But that is all behind me now and my foster says I've healed beautifully, both inside and out. I have been told that I can have a very serious look but I am gentle, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with a forever family. While I haven't met cats yet, I am at my best and confident when I am with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions or loving humans who adore snuggles.
