I am 4.5 years old, and I am about the sweetest little boy you will ever meet! I am very shy, and it might take me some time to trust, but when I come out of my shell I am a really good boy! I love treats, and attention, and I really actually love my crate! If you leave my crate door open with some blankets in there and that is where I will hang out mostly! I like having a safe place! I love toys! I'll play with them, and hide them in my crate too! I stay near you when we are outside too, dont see me look right next to you I'm there! I have really soft fur, and the most positive attitude ever! The place I came from was pretty hard on me, and all I want is a forever family to show me love and what it is like to be a real doggie! My fosters have shown me I can trust peoples, and my foster siblings are showing me how to play! I am really good around other dogs and kitties. Yes, I have some vision issues, but I am literally the best dog ever. I’m officially starting my search for my forever family, so let me tell you why you’re going to fall completely in love with me. First things first, I love everyone and everything. Dogs, kids, strangers, you name it. I am a total couch potato and a professional snuggle bug. If you’re looking for a wild party girl, I’m not your match. Those days are behind me. These days, I spend my time being my foster mom’s shadow (think Velcro), owning the couch like it’s my full-time job, stepping outside for a little fresh air, and then heading straight back to my throne. When my foster siblings want to wrestle, I let them start the game and usually fall asleep halfway through. I am a lover, not a fighter 🥰 I do have cataracts in both eyes and take daily eye drops since I’m not a great candidate for surgery. Don’t worry, though. I am AMAZING at it. I sit right next to my foster mom, know the routine, and take my drops like a champ. No wrestling required anymore. I will need these drops for life, but I promise I make it easy. Even with limited vision, I don’t let it slow me down or keep me from being part of the family. I love having other dogs around to help guide me, and I happily follow my four-legged friends everywhere. If you’re not into stage-five clingers, I may not be your girl, but if you want a devoted companion who sticks close, I’m perfect. Once I learn my surroundings, I gain confidence quickly and do great. I can handle a few stairs just fine, but lots of stairs make me a little nervous, so a mostly single-level home would be ideal. I don’t need a fenced yard. I walk beautifully on a leash, and honestly, I never want to be far from you anyway. I know the good life when I see it, and staying close to my people is where it’s at ❤️ I’m a 4-year-old babe who truly loves being loved. I’m pretty sure my real name is Angel Girl, because that’s what my foster family calls me. My hearing is excellent, my nose is incredible, and I like to think I could solve crimes if needed. When you can’t see perfectly, your other superpowers get even stronger 😉 I am gentle, affectionate, special, and full of love. I deserve a family who will cherish me, spoil me, and treat me like the queen I am.  Greta is a gorgeous, 27-pound pure bred Frenchie who considers herself practically perfect in every way—and honestly, she might be right. At 3 years old, she’s mastered the art of balancing princess-level confidence with irresistible charm. Greta loves to be the star of the show. If you dare pet another dog within her sight, she’ll gracefully (but firmly) booty-bump her way into the circle of love so your attention returns to its rightful place—her! Despite her very cuddly side, Greta isn’t a couch potato. she is playful, extremely smart, and enjoys raiding the toy box, playing tug with her humans, and even engaging with a few canine friends who meet her high standards. This former Mama is as sweet and affectionate as they come. She’s great with people, has excellent house manners, and is crate trained, but behaves so well that her foster family often gives her free rein of the downstairs when they head out. She’s fully housebroken, loves neighborhood walks (weather permitting), and happily tags along anywhere her humans go. Greta walks beautifully on leash and really only barks when she’s excited. At night, she’s happiest burrowed under the covers, preferably snuggled as close as she can possibly get...even if that means shoving you off the side of the bed.  Like most Frenchies, Greta comes with a few breed quirks. She has typical GI and skin sensitivities, well managed on a high quality limited-ingredient (LID) diet. She also previously had a small lump on her side removed and biopsied. It was low-grade (1) mast cell but was removed completely. This is the most common and is usually completely cured with surgery. The vet was very pleased with the outcome and has no concerns. Because Frenchies can require specialized care, we’re only seeking an adopter with frenchie breed experience who understands their unique (but totally worth-it) challenges.
