Story
HI - I'M GABY! (My name is actually Gabrielle but my friends call me "Gaby".) I'm a 4-year-old purebred French Bulldog in need of a forever home. I'm stocky and cute and a lovebug! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, and now am in a foster home, where I share my days with a couple other dogs, including my Frenchie pal, Juliette, who also needs a home. Like most Frenchies I'm adorable. When I look at you, I'll immediately make you smile. I love human attention and affection, love hanging out with my person or people and I love taking naps! I get along great with other dogs, though I can be a bit bossy if a dog is bossy with me. I have one cloudy eye, and the vet basically says there's nothing we can do, as it's something that may not improve (but I do not need my eye removed per the vet). But I get around just fine and am always on the move. I love to walk around and explore! When the day is done, I'd love to snuggle with you. I deserve the very best home with someone who appreciates Frenchies. Please email for an application.

HI - I'M JULIETTE! (JULES FOR SHORT) I'm a 2-year-old sweet French Bulldog in need of a forever home! I was rescued from a crowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I have a leg injury. Thankfully I was rescued, and the vet said it's an old injury, and there's not much we can do at this point. Despite all of this, I get along just great! I am currently in a foster home with other dogs, where we hang out, enjoy the sunshine and play. I weigh about 30 lbs. and am a sweetheart of a dog. Can you adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
Nola is a loyal and loving dog with lots of love to give! She got her name because she showed up at her fosters house the day of the Super Bowl! She walked right into their house, and fit right in with friends and family that they had over to watch the big game! Everyone fell in love with her instantly. Are you ready to fall in love with her too? Watch her here! https://youtu.be/xDm4dgcDOd4?si=gIouhndw4kmbDLNH Nola is hard of hearing, but you can get her attention with a high pitched whistle! She’s never too far from someone, so she will respond quickly! She is a friendly and playful girl who is always up for some fun in the yard or a nice neighborhood stroll. Despite her size she can be very athletic and loves to run around and explore. She is also a major cuddle bug, she loves to jump up on the couch. Her foster family calls her their couch hippo! Nola really loves toys, and she needs supervision with them. Toys are just too fun! She loves movie nights the most! Nola is the perfect companion for someone who’s looking for a loyal and affectionate companion. Because Nola is a little hard of hearing, we think she could definitely rock living in an apartment! She is fostered with two little girls and two female dogs. She is very kid friendly! Nola would be an amazing family dog. Are you ready to open your heart and your home for her? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
