Bolt is available through our `Adopt From a Foster Home` program. If you are interested in scheduling a meeting, please fill out the request form here: Adopt From Foster Form. Please do not make an appointment through our online booking calendar, as he is not available to meet on site.Bolt is a big personality in a very handsome package! This energetic, toy-loving guy is always ready for action, whether that means a spirited game of tug, chasing toys around the house, or showing off his adorable vocal “commentary” while he plays. He’s incredibly affectionate with the people he trusts and absolutely loves snuggling up for cuddles and brushing sessions after a busy day.In the home, Bolt has shown himself to be quite content and has settled nicely with his foster family. He has done well being left alone for short periods and enjoys spending time close to his people. He’s smart, knows his name, has great recall, and forms strong bonds with the humans in his circle.Bolt would benefit from a family that can provide him lots of structure and understanding as he navigates his new life! A family that can help him direct his excitable energy into appropriate channels and help him learn his best leash manners would be ideal!Bolt is also a dog who will need understanding, structure, and ongoing support from his future family. He is a very high-energy dog who can become easily overstimulated, especially around toys and during exciting situations. Sometimes his enthusiasm can come across as intimidating — he may bark loudly, jump up, or become very fixated on toys during play. His foster family found that calm voices, slow movements, and clear boundaries helped him settle and make better choices.Bolt is looking for an active, experienced home that will embrace both his lovable quirks and his challenges. With the right people beside him, this playful, snuggly, larger-than-life dog has so much potential to shine.A little bit about Bolt: - Kids: Can live with older kids, preferably 10 years and older! All interactions must be actively supervised by an adult.- Cats/Small Animals: no cats; potential for cats in future- Dogs: Potential for another medium/large dog, pending a successful dog-to-dog interaction.- Detached housing preferred

Story
Meet Tiger, the striped superstar who`s ready to pounce his way into your heart! With his gorgeous, unique coat, this former stray definitely earned his fierce name, but don`t worry, this Tiger is all love and wiggles. He`s a bouncy, energetic boy who`s still learning his manners and would love an active family committed to positive reinforcement training. Long walks, exciting play sessions, and end-of-the-day snuggles make up the perfect day for this sweet guy. Tiger adores everyone he meets and is eager to become the ultimate family pup, but older kids are recommended while he learns about personal space! We are not sure how he would do with other animals, so we recommend slow, supervised introductions with any resident pets. If you`re ready for life to get a little wild, Tiger is eagerly waiting to meet you!Tiger is:- unknown with kids, 12+ recommended due to arousal- unknown with cats, slow intros required- unknown with dogs, open pending successful intro

He is easy to guide with treats and is already showing a lovely foundation for continued learning through positive reinforcement.A little bit about Diego:Kids: Unknown history with children. Cats/Small Animals: Unknown history with cats or small animals. Dogs: Unknown history with other dogs. Potential to live with a select dog in the home pending a successful dog-to-dog introduction.

Story
Imagine being just six weeks old, living outdoors in a rural community during freezing winter temperatures—surrounded by ten other dogs, competing for food, warmth, and survival. That was Link’s beginning. It’s a heartbreaking start, but it’s only one small chapter of his story. Link came into care with Megan's Rescue in the dead of winter—tiny, unsure, and still learning that the world could be kind. Since then, he has done nothing but grow. Now a young adult, Link is patiently waiting for the family he’s always deserved. Link is a happy, gentle soul with a playful streak. He adores his toys and has a special love for carrying sticks along on his adventures. He travels wonderfully in the car, is house trained, and crate trained—making him an easy companion to welcome into a home. He does well with other dogs, though he can show some resource-guarding tendencies, so continued guidance and structure will help him thrive. Because of his rough start, Link isn’t 100% confident in every situation yet—but he is eager to learn, eager to please, and highly food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience for both of you. Above all else, Link loves people. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s by your side, building trust and soaking up love. Link has survived his hardest days. Now he’s ready for his best ones—could that be with you? 🐾

Story
Meet Lilly: Your Future Shadow, Cuddle Bug, and Professional Toy Demolisher. Looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side? Meet Lilly! This 3.5-year-old German Shepherd is an absolutely amazing dog with a heart of gold. She is the perfect mix of outdoor adventure companion and calm-couch-potato snuggle bug. Lilly is what we affectionately call a `velcro dog.` She loves her humans and wants to be involved in whatever they are doing. She will happily be your shadow around the house. The Best Things About Lilly: A Total People-Lover: Loves every person she meets and is absolutely fantastic with kids! Smart & Eager to Please: She knows `sit,` `lay down,` `shake a paw,` and understands `outside,` `treat,` and `walk.` Quiet & Calm: You won`t have to worry about barking. Lilly is quiet and only barks on occasion. Perfect House Manners: She isn`t crate trained, but she doesn`t need to be! She is perfectly well-behaved when left alone or while sleeping. The Perfect Balance: She loves going for walks or runs, but the moment you get home, she is ready to curl up and snuggle with you on the couch. Her Funny Quirks: The Toy Assassin: Stuffed toys and squeakers, beware! Destroying plush toys is her absolute favorite pastime. She also loves balls and is actively working on her fetch skills. The Meat Thief: Lilly is incredibly well-behaved around human food... unless it`s meat. She has zero guilt about stealing an unattended steak if given the opportunity! Selective Hearing: When it`s just the two of you, her off-leash recall is great, but if there are other dogs or people around to distract her, her listening skills completely go out the window! Lilly`s Ideal Home & Training Needs: While Lilly is a perfect angel with humans, she does have some specific needs to ensure she thrives: No Cats: Lilly has a very strong prey drive. Lilly can also be reactive to other dogs, especially on leash. She requires very slow, structured introductions. Because of this, homes with small dogs are not recommended. Experienced Owner Needed: We are looking for an adopter who has knowledge with dog reactivity and is committed to working with her on her leash skills and distraction recall. Lilly is an incredibly sweet, calm, and loving soul who just wants a family to call her own. If you have the time and experience to work with her, she will reward you by being the most devoted best friend you could ever ask for.
