Story
Ford is one of those special pups who can match your energy - he’s just as happy curling up for couch time (especially if blankets are involved!) as he is heading out for an adventure. At home, Ford is affectionate, relaxed, and well-mannered. He’s fully house-trained, loves to greet you at the door with a wagging tail, and hasn’t shown any destructive behaviours. When it’s time to play, his fun-loving side really shines - he absolutely loves fetch and will happily bring you his favourite ball to keep the game going.Out and about, Ford is still learning how to navigate the world with confidence. He can become vocal and reactive when surprised by things like unfamiliar people, dogs or sudden movement, often showing this through barking and lunging. With guidance, Ford has already started learning new skills - he is very food motivated and is beginning to respond to redirection cues with treats and encouragement.Ford is looking for a home that’s excited to continue helping him build these skills using positive reinforcement training. With consistency, structure and practice, he has great potential to become more confident and focused on his handler.Like many young, playful dogs, Ford can get a little jumpy and mouthy when excited, especially during playtime. He’s learning to manage this, and responds well to clear guidance and redirection.Ford is a loving, playful, and deeply rewarding companion who will thrive in a home ready to support him, have fun with him, and continue his learning journey.About Ford:- Older, dog-savvy kids recommended- No cats in home- Dogs may be okay pending successful introductionTo help Ford and his family start life off on the right paw, Ford will receive three private consults and a session of Reactive Rover to support him.

Story
Juniper is a sweet, energetic middle-aged German Shepherd looking for her forever family! She’s searching for a calm home where she can settle in and relax after going on fun new escapades with her people. Juniper is wonderful in the car and will happily lay down in the backseat while she waits for her next adventure! She enjoys getting out to sniff and explore, though she can pull on leash at times. She has lots of energy, loves to dig, and will happily chase a ball, though convincing her to give it back is part of the game! She also entertains herself well with her toys when it`s time to settle down. Juniper has lived successfully with cats and may do well with a feline friend again! She can be selective with other dogs and would be happiest as the only canine in the home. She adores butt scratches, greets new people with enthusiasm, and has been gentle and friendly with kids she’s met. She loves people of all sizes!Due to a history of itchy skin and potential allergies, Juniper will need a special hypoallergenic diet and medication to keep her feeling her best!Juniper is the perfect mix of energetic and snuggly and would make an amazing companion to any family. Come meet her today!Juniper is:- good with kids- open to cats, has successfully lived with before- no dogs

With her adorable face and penchant for doggy kisses, she has the makings of a friendly companion! Just be sure that you`re ready to help teach Sadie some proper doggy manners as she can get over-excited and try to jump when meeting new people.Sadie is also a very active dog that would thrive in a home that is just as busy and energetic as she is. Be sure that you`re prepared to offer her all of the walks, training, and enrichment she needs to stay at her happiest and healthiest! Speaking of her new family, Sadie should be the only pet in home as she does not get along well with other animals. Story
Imagine being just six weeks old, living outdoors in a rural community during freezing winter temperatures—surrounded by ten other dogs, competing for food, warmth, and survival. That was Link’s beginning. It’s a heartbreaking start, but it’s only one small chapter of his story. Link came into care with Megan's Rescue in the dead of winter—tiny, unsure, and still learning that the world could be kind. Since then, he has done nothing but grow. Now a young adult, Link is patiently waiting for the family he’s always deserved. Link is a happy, gentle soul with a playful streak. He adores his toys and has a special love for carrying sticks along on his adventures. He travels wonderfully in the car, is house trained, and crate trained—making him an easy companion to welcome into a home. He does well with other dogs, though he can show some resource-guarding tendencies, so continued guidance and structure will help him thrive. Because of his rough start, Link isn’t 100% confident in every situation yet—but he is eager to learn, eager to please, and highly food motivated, which makes training a rewarding experience for both of you. Above all else, Link loves people. He’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when he’s by your side, building trust and soaking up love. Link has survived his hardest days. Now he’s ready for his best ones—could that be with you? 🐾
