Story
Meet Sardinia, a vibrant and loving 2-year-old German Shepherd with a heart brimming with affection. With her striking appearance and moderate energy level, she's the ideal companion for those who lead an active lifestyle. While Sardinia thrives on playtime and outdoor escapades, she also finds immense joy in snuggling up with her favorite human on the couch. Sardinia found herself as a long-term resident at the shelter, mainly due to her initial apprehension and fear of strangers. However, beneath her cautious demeanor lies a loyal companion eagerly awaiting the right person to help her blossom. Once Sardinia forms a bond with you, her true essence shines through. She's incredibly sweet and loving, often expressing her affection through gentle kisses and playful interactions with her cherished toys. Forming a connection with Sardinia goes beyond gaining a loyal pet; it's about witnessing her transformation into a confident and content dog. To discover more about Sardinia, please reach out to an adoptions matchmaker at 520-327-6088 ext 173 before planning a visit to meet her!

Story
EMERGNECY PLACEMENT DEADLINE 3PM WEDNESDAY APRIL 17, 2024Name: PANDA Animal ID: A746364Age: 4 yearsWeight: 39 lbs.About: Meet Panda, he is about 4 years old, Chow Chow mix. Panda will need to find placement with a foster or an adopter through PACC before 3pm on Wednesday April 17, 2024.Panda first came to the shelter back in 2021 as part of a hoarding situation, where he was living with numerous other dogs and was under socialized with people. He was fortunate enough to have received some socialization with the help of staff and volunteers and lived in an adoptive home for well over a year. He is still a little nervous with handling, but in the shelter, he has not shown any potential to fear bite. Panda deserves a second chance at life. He has lived a rough life this far and is looking to find a permanent home to live out his days living his best life. In his previous home, Panda did display some reactivity to people while on the leash and did have an undocumented bite to the husband in the home. Panda would like to meet every member in the household before going home. Once Panda is comfortable with his people, he can be protective so he will need to be kept in a crate or separate room when visitors enter the home. Panda does well with other dogs and might do better in a home with another dog. If you are interested in meeting Panda please come to PACC and ask to meet him.

Story
Loki is one of several dogs who were surrendered to PACC as a group back in 2021. Loki has bounced around between foster and adoptive homes since then and is back on the hunt for a true forever home now. He’s one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever come across and really deserves a soft landing!! Here’s what we know about Loki from his prior homes:- Loki has lived with multiple other dogs and has done well with small dogs- He’s done well with kiddos (but may do best with older kids)- He’s playful, affectionate, and super loving- He is housebroken and crate trained- He can be a bit of a couch potato- He loves toys, car rides, and belly rubs- He loves being near his people and leaps and spins in excitement when his people get back home Loki has a medical condition called Megaesophagus, which means he will need to be fed upright for his meals. He doesn’t mind at all, so just needs a family who doesn’t mind either! Loki has shared his kennel with other PACC pups and has preferred his space when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you can help a sweet dog who has had a rough start to life and has been shuffled around too many times, please ask about Loki today!
