Story
Stella is currently in foster. If interested, please contact us at 815-858-2265 Stella is currently at a foster-train-boarding facility. She is looking for a single animal home. She is a sweet girl who loves to play. She enjoys running outside and playing fetch. She can be a little hesitant of new people, but warms up pretty quickly. She has a strong prey drive, therefore no cats in her future home. She is barrier reactive. She is obedient, loves to learn, and is willing to please. She is sweet and social. Adopter would need to be willing to continue training with her current trainer, located in Monroe, WI., to help her transition to her new surroundings. Stella has shown that she is sensitive to new situations within the first few days of being there. She will need someone who will provide her with adequate support and training expectations. Potential owner should be an experienced dog owner. If you are interested in adopting this adorable canine, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 815-858-2265 or email us atsafehaven1471@gmail.com. Story
Sheena has had a rough start at life. She was adopted as a baby and was taken to the doghouse when her owner did not want to train her. That is where she found herself for a year, with an occasional trip to the house when she got in trouble for barking. She is a sweetheart with no training. She does keep her kennel clean. She is dog-friendly and does love people. She just doesn't know how to respectfully show it. We are working with her and our trainer is starting too. She is truly a gorgeous girl with so much potential.

She was living 12 hours a day in a crate, so she needs more work seeing the crate as a safe place. Preferably rehomed with a family thats mostly home. She was never around children, so Preferably a home with teenagers. Loves to follow us around and loves attention. She barks at people she dosen't know but warms up to them after a minute or two. She goes into her crate overnight. Plays fetch and loves to be encouraged to try new things. We took her in because the family that had her couldn't give her the time or attention she needed. She will give you all her love.

Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mazie is a lover of fetch, pets, and car rides. She has lots of energy and loves to perform for her treats. Mazie enjoys her ball thrown in the morning before breakfast and a treat before going in her kennel. She is best with a yard and deserves to be an only pet, as she tends to get jealous when sharing attention. She struggles with speration anxiety so having undivided attention is very important to her. She is house trained, can sit, shake, touch, lay, and down. Her recall can be spotty, but she responds well to a whistle and name call. She was recently introduced to a kennel and is working on making it her "safe space." She is spayed and up to date on rabies. Because of her anxiety, Mazie is on fluoxetine to help ease her worries. She requires 3 pills once a day. She is so very loved but with another baby on the way, Mazie has turned her attention to lashing out. She deserves someone to love with her big heart and her undivided attention.
