Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Please contact us to ask about our adoption process and our adoption fees.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Stella is currently in foster. If interested, please contact us at 815-858-2265 Stella is currently at a foster-train-boarding facility. She is looking for a single animal home. She is a sweet girl who loves to play. She enjoys running outside and playing fetch. She can be a little hesitant of new people, but warms up pretty quickly. She has a strong prey drive, therefore no cats in her future home. She is barrier reactive. She is obedient, loves to learn, and is willing to please. She is sweet and social. Adopter would need to be willing to continue training with her current trainer, located in Monroe, WI., to help her transition to her new surroundings. Stella has shown that she is sensitive to new situations within the first few days of being there. She will need someone who will provide her with adequate support and training expectations. Potential owner should be an experienced dog owner. If you are interested in adopting this adorable canine, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 815-858-2265 or email us atsafehaven1471@gmail.com. Dog adoption donations are $200 which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, Heartworm test, Lyme test, Bordetella, flea & tick preventative, heartworm prevention, deworming, and microchip. Story
We have had Sam for almost 2 years and we are her 3rd home. The reason we are rehoming Sam is because we have a baby on the way due in October this year. She is a reactive dog with behavioral issues along with anxiety. She does not get along with anyone besides me and my fiancé or any dogs at all. She is not potty trained or crate trained, even though we have tried. She has chewed through her metal cage leaving a hole that she’s has tried to squeeze her body through, so now we leave her out in the house for her own safety. She is destructive when not watched due to her being bored and anxious even though she has toys all around. It’s as if she’s guarding the house from everything and everyone. She would do best with someone understanding her breed, having a consistent work/life schedule, and being an only dog. She’s a very sweet dog once you gain her trust and get to know her. She loves to be goofy while playing. She loves her balls, fetch, tug a war, going on walks, and a good belly rub.

Story
Hi! I’m Houdini, I love pleasing my owners whether you want to chill on the couch or go on long hikes, I’m just happy to be with youI love chewing on bones and playing with toys, a quick game of keep away will make my whole day!I am kennel trained and will happily wait for you to come home, I don’t bark in my kennel unless I really have to pee so you don’t have to worry about me upsetting the neighbors.i’m shy at first but once I get to know you all I want is your love and affection!I don’t like cats, small dogs, or other small animals and I will try to eat them.. my mom says this isn’t one of my ideal traits but I’m young so a bit of training might help me learn to be ok with those things in the future.Kids scare me and I panic, I need a family that understands that I need a home without kids around. If you’re looking for an energetic dog who’s happy to do whatever you want, and you don’t mind my less appealing qualities, then please apply to be my new owner and give me a furever home!

Story
Meet Zottana, a loveable high energy shepherd looking for her right match! This girl is incredibly smart and a fast learner, making her a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue her training and help her grow into an amazing adult dog. Like any young adult, Zottana is full of energy and loves staying active, but when playtime is over, she’s happiest curled up next to her favorite people as the ultimate cuddle buddy. She also has some adorable quirks; she loves peanut butter and snacking on veggies and even likes having her teeth brushed! If you’re looking for adventure and endless love, come meet Zottana! Medical History: Zottana appears to be a healthy young adult, we recommend setting up an appointment with your vet soon after adoption for a full checkup. Restrictions: No small children. Zottana needs to go home with an active family that will help her gain confidence in a positive reinforcement-based way. Weight: ~25 lbs. Adoption Fee: $200 plus tax.
