Hi, I`m Rosa! I was part of a seizure of 17 German Shepherds that GCHS assisted with. Due to my previous living situation I`m shy & get nervous of new people. My future family would need to be patient & understanding with my lack of socialization. I`ve never lived inside a home before so that would be a new experience. I need someone who is willing to go slow with me & not push me to meet people or do things that make me uncomfortable. Previous German Shepherd experience and/or experience with an under-socialized dog is preferred.

I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

He would love to find a home where he can enjoy his golden years and receive the pampering he deserves. As an older fella he is getting all his senior care to keep him comfortable and happy!
