Obi is a happy and moderate energy 2 year old German Sheperd (born 2023).  He likes snuggles and sometimes will try to sit with you in a chair. He does hop into bed at night for snuggles, but after about 10 minutes, he jumps down to sleep on the floor. He does not cause destruction in the house, but will try to get into a trash can.  He can be chill, but Obi loves to play.  He’s a great partner to have if you work at home.  He won't interrupt you other than an occasional stop for some pets from you. The perfect home for Obi would be a kid-free home with an experienced German Sheperd owner.  Since he has been around kids, he might be okay with older kids in the house (age 13+).  We're not sure how Obi would be with other animals, so he should be the only dog in the home.  He has not had an opportunity for socialization with another dog.  Obi is leashed trained and does not react to other dogs during his walks. Rose (b. Aug 2023) is a German Shepherd/Pitbull mix.  This girl is very smart - she is ready, willing and able to move to her new home with you!  She is totally housebroken and stays in her kennel at night and when her foster parents are away from home.  She gets along great with the other dog and cat in the house.  Give her a tennis ball and she will entertain herself for 15-20 minutes! Rose gets pretty excited and would do best in a home with children 16 years old and over. Rose is such a sweet dog and anyone would be lucky to have her!!  The suggested adoption donation for Rose is $365, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission.
