Apollo is a stereotypical German Shepherd. Apollo is looking for an adopter that will work with him on his behavior and training. He is very cuddly once he warms up and absolutely loves to train. He's incredibly treat and ball motivated. Apollo attaches to his people and can be fearful of new people if not properly intro'd. Apollo is looking for an adopter with breed experience that understands GSD behavior and personality and can also continue his training. Marley is from a breeder that lived out in the farm back in Elgin, Oklahoma. He’s 1.5 years old with plenty of energy and curiosity! Because of his abundance of energy, he needs someone who is calm, strong, and experienced with his breed. Marley would absolutely love a large space to run around with and be spoiled rotten as he loves sleeping on the bed or couch and of course get LOTS of pets and snuggles. Marley is kennel and potty trained, knows to sit, stay, down, back, out and touch. He could use more training for jumping and pulling on the lead. Marley would be best with a couple, family with older kids or other dogs with similar energy level and size or as an only ‪dog. He is familiar with cats but is too rough with play.

Zeus is a great dog. We originally got him because it was always a dream to have a German Sheppard and we wanted to give our other dog a friend and someone to play with. We bought him from someone that was ill equipped to take care of a puppy. He did great with our kids and dog, but as he has gotten older, about 11 months now, I haven't had the time to work with him and train him to the extent that he needs due to traveling for work so much. We hare to see him go but know he can and will do so much better in a house that has the time he needs. He has a crate that he has been crate trained with and lots of toys that will accompany him to his new home. If there are any other questions, please let me know.

I don’t think she’s pure breed but unknown what she’s mixed with. Was malnourished when I got her, now solid 65-70lbs. Loving, goofy, energetic, house trained. Uses a crate and does well on a leash. Stays in the limits of an e-fence. Does well with 2 older GSDs but tends to be too playful with them and gets hurt. Will follow you everywhere, eager to play and please, loves to sleep with her human. Will drape across your legs while you use the bathroom. Likes eating bath bubbles, playing, putting multiple toys in her mouth at once, stealing everyone’s bones when they’re not looking and running around the yard. Loves a cheap blanket, Barks at strangers but not aggression. Hides when in trouble. Good with my kid. She is a good dog but the older ones don’t t appreciate her energy. I have also been dealing with a medical issue that makes things difficult. She would do great with a family with kids available to play with or even a couple/individual with time to play.

Nilla is a loving 4 year old German Shepard. She is full of energy and loves to play. But she will also happily sit on your lap and watch some TV. She has anxiety which is triggered by noises. Her anxiety leaves her pacing and causes her to have frequent accidents. Unfortunately she currently lives next to a bus barn and have tried getting her adjusted for the past 4.5 years but we haven’t been successful. She gets excited and barks when people come over but quickly calms down and loves to just be around everyone. She is a sweet dog that just needs a little extra love and attention. Someone who has land and away from in town would be ideal!

Armani (also known as Sissy Pants, Puppy, Poppy, Gremlin, Bad Bunny, and SBP) got her name because HUGS took her on knowing of her mega-E diagnosis, and much like her designer namesake, we knew she was going to be expensive!  Armani was surrendered to rescue at only 11 weeks old - the backyard breeder tried to bait and switch the buyers with Armani over the puppy they had already chosen, and when that didn't work, gave Armani to them for free. The buyers immediately realized something was wrong, and Armani was diagnosed with Mega-E two days after they got her. When they contacted the breeder and were told Armani would be put down if they returned her, thankfully they found us. Even by Shepherd standards, Armani is smart. Her first Bailey chair was built the same day she was rescued, and by her third meal in it, she had started jumping on her chair when she saw her foster mama making her food! The first few days with Armani, she was fairly low energy and restrained, likely from lack of nutrition. She began perking up quickly, and is definitely the life of the party now, acting every bit a 'normal' puppy! Shoes and socks were not safe around Puppy for months, but she has recently discovered how tasty kitchen towels can be! Armani is very much a typical puppy - full of energy, always ready to play (even after a 4 mile hike!!), and wildly curious about the world around her.  Armani has excelled at training, knowing sit, stay, how to get into her chair at mealtime, and great leash manners for her age. She's been well socialized thanks to her foster brother and two foster sisters, and has learned how to read and respect other dog personalities, everything from grumpy old man dog to crazy zoomie wrestling sister dogs. Regarding her Mega-E diagnosis: while Armani has congenital, generalized Mega-E, meaning she's not a surgical candidate, her condition is well managed without medication and only needing 15 minutes of upright time after meals. She has earned the nickname 'Diva' from her backup fosters who watch her when Mom travels because her food and feeding preferences change with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes she eats her entire meal from her bowl, sometimes she demands to be spoon or handfed (extra fun when feeding her special recipe mush!) Similarly, she normally gets a 'mush' recipe, but at times will refuse, wanting canned salmon, raw meatballs, or straight dry kibble. She does not tolerate water well, so she gets gelatinized chicken broth cubes. Armani is very much a pack dog - she first left her mom with her littermate, and has since grown up with a pack of three GSDs. She's far more timid when she goes somewhere alone, but will gain confidence if adopted as an only dog to someone who puts in the training time. She is incredibly bonded to her humans - if foster mom is working from home, she will happily spend the whole day perched on the arm of the couch next to mom's desk dropping toys on mom and breathing in mom's ear. His personality is always happy. He will never say no to a nice walk, run, or playing in the yard. He loves kids and is patient with them, but doesn't always remember how big he is, and can knock them over. He does well on walks and is working on not pulling when he gets excited. He does okay with cats and leaves them alone in his foster home, unless they provoke him. Bones and stuffed animals are his favorite things to play with. He is working on kennel training and has made good progress, but still isn't a fan of it and currently uses a heavy duty crate. Because of that, Cosmo would do best with someone who is home a lot.
