Story
Received him from a 1st home that didnt work out due to having 2 other german shepherds. Original owner, a widower who thought it was a good idea to get up puppy, When he worked 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. Crated 12 hrs a day as a puppy. Brought Lula to our house., just does not get along with our other German Shepherd or our Shih. Tzu. She needs to be a one pet owner. May get along with a puppy as long as it learns shes alpha. She will come with her kennel as that is her safety spot and loves relaxing/sleeping in kennel. She is a very loving dog and will make a great pet as the only pet.

Story
Beau is a very sweet dog, it appears as if he has not had basic training, but is learning quickly. Unfortunately, he is so fixated with our cats that he cannot focus on anything else when he knows they may be anywhere in the area. We live on 10 acres, have three barn cats that like to come up to the house and visit us and our dogs. Beau chases them, sniffs out where they came from and tries to dig under the deck to go after them. He has also chased one of them up a tree and literally climbed 8 to 10 feet up to catch it. Training would be easier w no cats around to distract him! He loves running, belly rubs and holding hands! He gets along with other dogs. We believe he is under nourished and are trying to get weight on him. He is up to date on shots and is neutered. He needs a home with an experienced, active owner. He needs a working dog environment! He has a lot of energy! Unsure how he’s around kids. He’s very smart, quick to learn and will be a great pet for someone!

Story
Eleanor Roosevelt and CJ (Cami Junior) joined our family in the fall of 2022. They have a backyard to play in with a fence; they are littermates (sisters) and we love them very much. Our jobs are changing and we are not able to keep them any longer due to our new schedules. :( We do not want a fee for our pets, but please do not let them fall into the hands of dog fighting groups. It would break my heart. They sleep with me at night for a few hours and then sleep in their kennel the rest of the night. They also stay in their kennel while we are not home. They each weigh just over 50 pounds. CJ would be ok on her own, but Ellie would be lost without CJ. I hope you can adopt them both.

Story
Hello, My name is River. I am almost six years old in July. I currently live with my aunt and mom because my mom got really sick. My aunt is helping me write this now. I have gone through obedience training and know how to behave but sometimes I get very anxious in public or large crowds. I was trained with an E collar that would be with me at my new home as well. I do have a brother Bailey who I love very much. I however dot like my brother ghost who is actually my litter mate brother and lives here with my aunt. My mom will not be able to care for me for a long time after getting sick so Im searching for a new home. My mom is very upset and worried I wont be cared for properly so that led us to this site. I love having a fenced in back yard as I have had one for a while now but do just fine on leads. I love my bath time and being made pretty my mom even blow dries me. My favorite toy is my ball. I do like my kennel but only with my mat if you put a blanket with me I may nibble it

Story
Lives is the country is crate trained. Loves to run around we do not use a tie out he always stays on the property. Does not like mail people or unexpected guests at the door lots of barking. Listens quickly when he has a shock collar on all he needs is a vibrate. He is not bad when it's off just does not always listen immediately like he does when he has the collar on. He's a hunter will not stop eating out chickens and "herding" our pigs that is the main reason we are rehoming he is costing us too much $$$.

Story
Hello, this is Bourbon. She was a puppy rescue from "Bones to Beds". We have had her for the last 4 years, she will be turning 5 in March. She is a very shy cautious dog who is frightened by anything unknown. Due to this she has frequent anxiety and has been deemed a reactive dog. We've worked with professional dog trainers (Sit Means Sit) to help with this and it was very helpful for a few years. Bourbon listens to commands very well if she is in an environment with no distractions. An issue of resources guarding has developed in the last few years which we have been trying to mitigate. However we have (2) cats in the family and the guarding has now extend to them. We have been sent to the vet a number of times for injuries to the cats from Bourbon. The hard thing for us is Bourbon does not show signs of being aggressive until she explodes. We think she might have rage syndrome as she will wake from sleep in a frenzy. Otherwise she is a very cuddly loving girl, who loves scritches
