Story
Chase is 5 yes old and was born in March of 2019. We’ve had him since he was six weeks old. He is an outside dog mostly. We bring him in at night where he sleeps on the floor beside my adult sons bed with the door closed or in an inside kennel. He is not allowed to roam the house because he will Pee when your not looking. So in the morning he goes straight out. My husband occasionally potties him around 2am but he can hold it until morning. He loves people! Shy around other dogs because he does not prefer their company. Chase is a really fun, goofy dog! He reminds us of a bear he’s so big and fluffy. He’s good at being bathed professionally and at home as well. He sometimes does not want breakfast and won’t eat until the afternoon. We will miss Chase a whole lot and are only rehoming him because we’ve had to assume the care of my father who has dementia and his home. He pulls while walking him on a leash but does listen to you. He is really smart and knows what you ask him to do.

***RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG*** Adoptable through Spay Neuter Assistance Program of Michigan https://spayneuterassistanceprogramofmichigan.org Contact Ann at 574-514-6832 or dreampawsrescue@gmail.com   Athena is a young and adventurous German Shepherd that weights 64 lbs. She gets along with most dogs and children over 7 years. Athena knows, sit, down, leave it, off, and look. She is still working on her recall (come), but is gaining skills everyday as we practice often. She has been given an exciting training opportunity through Refurbished Pets that lasted 10 weeks! Athena is crate trained, housebroken (rings bells at the door), and absolutely loves to retrieve balls. She would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard, a German Shepherd experienced family that can continue her training, and has another dog for her to run with.  Athena does not do well with cats, tiny dogs, nor small furries. At this time, she is on Prozac 60mg once a day to decrease her anxiety when seeing other dogs that she isn’t familiar with. **Fenced-in yard required. ***RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG*** Adoptable through Spay Neuter Assistance Program of Michigan https://spayneuterassistanceprogramofmichigan.org Contact Ann at 574-514-6832 or dreampawsrescue@gmail.com ##1816629##

Story
Chiquita is a sweet young shepherd mix who was brought to the shelter when her previous family had a hard time keeping her from adventuring in the neighborhood. She's an energetic lady who loves to chase small critters, so she will need to go to a home with no cats. She has lived with children and is very friendly with people, and really would love an active family committed to keeping her safe and sound at home!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Aggie is a bouncy shepherd/lab mix puppy who was found stray. Her previous family got her microchipped, but never registered their information so we had no way to contact them. No one came searching for her, so this spunky girl is ready to move on! She is a typical puppy who will need lots of time and patience, plus someone to teach her how to be a bit more polite when greeting people. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky girl who has a glass-half-full kind of attitude, Aggie is your pup!

Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
This is Ivy, she was found near our home about a month and a half ago. I noticed she must have been out for some time, or neglected (because of how thin she was). She had a hurt paw and was very scared. She was running around with her tail between her legs. We wish we could keep her, but sadly we cannot. She has been cared for and loved by us. She has been such a sweet girl to me and my family. She loves car rides, belly rubs, treats, sticks, swimming and LOVES to be outside. Ivy is very protective of her home, she will need some training to establish boundaries and knowing how to act when strangers approach, as they are known to be excellent protectors. Ivy is very smart and trains easily. She will need an experienced mom/dad to continue her training and to give her the LOVE she deserves. It IS a requirement that she is trained WITHOUT harsh methods. She must be in a loving home and if for any reason she cannot stay in your permanent home, she must come back to me right away.
