Story
Adeline Adeline is a Female GSD mix. DOB: Feb of 2025 Adoption fee: $200.00 I am a sweetheart of a pup. I have GSD characteristics. I am talkative and strong-willed. I will be a loyal companion for someone with breed experience. I will require someone who has previously owned and personally cared for a German Shepherd. I am not sure what my breed mixture may be. I am strongly recommended for a physically fenced yard. I may require it pending your previous experience and location. I am recommended for children 8-10 years old or older, pending observed interaction. Pending a meet and greet, I may match with another dog (male only). I could be trained with a dog savvy cat. I am not going to be a huge dog, possibly more on the petite size of a normal GSD, no guarantees on my actual adult size. Not much information was provided on intake.

Story
Lives is the country is crate trained. Loves to run around we do not use a tie out he always stays on the property. Does not like mail people or unexpected guests at the door lots of barking. Listens quickly when he has a shock collar on all he needs is a vibrate. He is not bad when it's off just does not always listen immediately like he does when he has the collar on. He's a hunter will not stop eating out chickens and "herding" our pigs that is the main reason we are rehoming he is costing us too much $$$.

Story
One year old Jacob found himself in a Texas shelter with a toe injury. He has recovered well and made his way up to Michigan in search of his forever home. He is all ears and all cute! Jacob gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. He is crate and house trained and an all around smart boy, typical of his breed. He is a little shy at first,  but comes right out of his shell after a bit. Because of his shyness, a physical fenced yard is required.  Jacob is 40 lbs (and growing), neutered, up to date in shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.00. Please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com if you have questions about him. Ready to apply for him, visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org and fill out one of our adoption applications.March 22, 2025, 8:47 pm

Story
Name: Sosa Breed: AKC German Shepherd Gender: Spayed Female Age: 6 years old Weight Guess: Approximately 50 pounds Adoption fee: $400 Am I good with: Children: 5+ Cats: No Dogs: Yes, Medium/big dogs only; Meet and Greet Required About me: Hi, I'm Sosa! I'm a playful, water-loving girl who's always up for an adventure! While I can be a bit of a handful at times, I promise to reward you with tons of love and loyalty. I'm looking for an experienced home (not an apartment) where I can thrive and show off just how amazing I can be. Ready to make some waves together? I've been at the ARP since 5/30/25 and am currently located at the rescue. The Animal Rescue Project (www.animalrescueproject.org) is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All dogs and puppies are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medication to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and ticks they may have. Dogs greater than six months of age are checked for heartworm. If heartworm positive, the Animal Rescue Project treats the disease. Dogs and pups receive all age-appropriate vaccinations for distemper, and dogs greater than four months of age are also vaccinated for rabies, in compliance with State of Michigan laws. All dogs are also microchipped. Most dogs and older puppies are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of puppies not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
