Story
Hi there, I'm Peace Lily, the playful 5-month-old, 20lb German Shepherd mix eagerly looking for my forever family. I found myself as a scared stray all by myself at a kill shelter before I was rescued. When I first arrived to my foster home, I was pretty scared, but with some love and patience, I've come out of my shell and revealed my true fun-loving nature. Zooming around the yard is my absolute favorite pastime, and I'm always up for a game of fetch or tag! I’m being fostered near Coldwater, Michigan.I'm quite the social pup and get along great with other dogs, although I haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. Kids are cool too, but I'm still learning not to jump up, so some supervision would be ideal. Walking on a leash is still a bit new to me, so I feel most comfortable in a FENCED-IN YARD where I can explore safely. I'm proud to say I'm making strides in my training—I'm almost a pro at potty training, and I'm a champ at sleeping through the night in my crate. Plus, I'm fully-vetted and ready to embark on all sorts of adventures with my new family with an adoption fee of $350.If you think we'd make the perfect match, reach out to projecthoperescue@gmail.com or visit our website at www.projecthoperescue.org to fill out an application. I can't wait to meet my forever family and shower them with love and puppy kisses!May 14, 2024, 3:02 pm

Story
Looking to rehome our gorgeous girl to a home that can give her all the love and attention she needs. She’s a purebred, 7 year old German Shepherd who still thinks she’s a puppy. She is full of life, love and energy. She needs a home with no young children, and ideally no other pets. She does get along with our other large dog but generally can’t be trusted with small animals or children. We have tried over the last 3 years to get her to adjust to our toddler, but continues to struggle with impulse control and jumping on/hurting him. As a result she is always separated from the family or tethered to keep our child safe. She would do best with kids 10 years old plus

Story
Trace and her sister Rafa are adorable short shepherd mixes who came to us from another shelter. They are about 6 months old and are as sweet as can be. They have lived with other dogs, but small children have been pretty scary to both of them so far. They should do well in just about any quoet home with the time and patience to raise and train a puppy!
