Story
Riley is an awesome dog! He is professionally trained and obeys commands. Although he is almost seven’s years old he still acts like a puppy. He loves to fetch a ball or stick. If you throw a ball or literally any item in the water he loves to swim for it. He is good with children ( I have 5 granddaughters). He is good with most dogs but sometimes wants to show his dominance. He grew up with a cat but now likes to chase them. He is super smart though, and learns to adapt. He needs exercise and loves the outdoors. He especially loves snow and loves cold weather. If you’re not one to walk or do things with him he’s not for you. He needs room to run and play. Don’t consider him if you live in an apartment or if he will be sitting in the house all day. He loves to be around family and he also travels well. I love him and it’s heartbreaking to give him up and I won’t give him up if I feel like it’s not a good fit. Finally, he is a beautiful dog and he gets compliments everywhere we go.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, my name is Diego! In my foster home, I also go by "Good Boy", "Big Dog", and "Little Goblin" - that last one is because of my ears, not because I have any goblin tendencies! My foster mom says I'm a handsome sweetheart and that I deserve a happily ever after, so she made me a profile in hopes of finding my perfect match:   Putting my best paw forward - these are things I like or excel at: People! (Friendly with adults and dog-savvy kids) Toys! (The squeakier the better) My collection of toys! (Gentle with toys and will sometimes treat them as a pacifier) The great outdoors! (Being outside, exploring the fenced-in yard, and just listening to the birds) Treats! (Preferred training reward and takes treats very gently) Sit! Down! Off! Come! (Knows these commands well) Singing the songs of my people! (Can be vocal) Housetrained! Crate trained! (Will go in crate but not a fan; great on own outside of crate) Energy-burning activities! (High energy) Modeling!  I'm always trying to be a good boy - here's what I'm working on: Leash training Making dog friends (Slowly meeting foster brother) Something else you should know about me: I'm on medication for seizures, but my foster mom hasn't seen any evidence of seizures since I've been in rescue.    Think you might be my forever after? Fill out an application so we can arrange our first date!   Diego is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dusty, a handsome GSD who is ready to live the pawsome life with YOU!  Dusty has no idea how he landed in MN, but luckily he was befriended by an amazing human and made his way into rescue. It’s clear he was loved in his former life and is desperate for that feeling again.  Dusty is a true snuggler and physical affection is his love language. When his foster human comes home, Dusty can’t wait to lay his head in her lap and would accept head and ear rubs for hours if given the chance. When he’s not snuggling, he’s showing you his toy skills. There are few toys that he doesn’t like, and especially loves a good puzzle or stuffed Kong. Dusty is crate trained and can also be trusted to roam free.  Dusty is currently Heartworm positive, which is a preventable disease transmitted by mosquitoes. He is undergoing treatment and expected to make a full recovery. During treatment, he must remain calm (no walks, playing with dogs, fetch, etc.) to let the medicine work and prevent any complications. Because of this, there are still some aspects of his personality that are unknown. Dusty will be able to start slow activity toward mid/end of October, and he can’t wait to no longer be cooped up! Dusty is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Chiclet is a wonderful puppy that loves her people and other animals. She likes to play with cats and kittens as well as our other dog that is 100 pounds. She loves cuddles and would love to curl up on your lap or lay next to you while you work or read. She also loves the outside rolling around or going on short walks around our property. She has a big voice and loves to tell you her opinion. She absolutely loves food and is very food motivated. She really enjoys enrichment activities that involve treats and will try her best to learn if there is a treat involved. She wants to be by her human most of the time so be prepared for a shadow! She is simple a doll and such a fun puppy! Let me know if you want to meet her!     Chiclet is from a local reservation. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Amara, also known as Mama, is an absolute sweetheart who loves to be close by. When she's separated, she can get a bit vocal, but that's just her way of showing how much she loves company. She's a pro at playing fetch with her ball and knows basic commands, showing how obedient and eager to please she is. Click here and here for some cute videos of her playing! With her quick learning skills, she's bound to pick up even more. Amara enjoys walks and loves to sniff everything along the way. While she pulls on the leash and barks at other dogs, she responds well to corrections. She’s known to be playful with other dogs but tends to bark at them first. In her previous home, she lived with two other dogs and was trusted to free roam when her owner was out. Amara has been great with everyone she’s met, and while she hasn’t interacted with children yet, her sweet nature suggests she’d do wonderfully with them too. Amara is from Owner Surrender.
