Story
We adopted Rex from a breeder as a baby. He is 6 years old. He has allergies and he takes Apoquel daily. We have been having a hard time narrowing down what his allergies stem from. He licks his paws, has a runny and cracked nose, and is just overall scratching continuously. He has been indoors since we've adopted him. He's good with kids and cats. He does not like strangers until he is properly introduced. He does not like delivery drivers. He has anxiety issues. He does not like storms. He is uneasy when I am away for some time, and will have accidents in the house during those times, even though my BF and daughter are with him. He has recently been having accidents in the house, so we are looking for a home for him where someone can be with him more, and attend to his needs more closely (anxiety, allergies, boredom). We are gone for 10 hours a day at work, and he needs to have more attention throughout the day. Up to date on shots, and weighs 102 pounds

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bruce is a cheerful dog who thrives on love and attention. He delights in being pet and cherishes his stuffed toys. Preferring the proximity of his foster family, he happily follows them around the house, providing quiet companionship. A crate is uncomfortable for Bruce but when left alone he has run of the house and does very well just lounging around on his comfy dog bed. Bruce thrives in the company of other dogs, finding joy in social interactions, though he doesn't always like to share with his canine companions.   Check out this       video         of Bruce at the lake. Bruce is very loving and gentle with the adults and kids in his family but is very cautious with friends and visitors that come to the house. With slow introductions and positive reinforcement over time he has allowed others into his circle.  Upon entering rescue, Bruce was initially a neglected and debilitated dog, grappling with various health issues such as Lyme disease, a thyroid disorder, skin allergies, infections, and a sinus condition with a chronic unexplained cough. Through dedicated treatment and care, he has shown positive responses, but managing his well-being requires medications on both a daily and as-needed basis. Additionally, Bruce faces mobility challenges due to hip issues in both legs and a torn ACL in his right hind leg. While corrective FHO surgery is not currently an option, his quality of life is good but depends on limited yet regular physical activity, close monitoring, joint supplements, and prescribed pain management. Despite his physical limitations, Bruce adeptly uses a ramp for entering and exiting vehicles, finding joy in car ride adventures and short outings outdoors. He is a happy dog with a tail that is always wagging! Bruce is best suited to an environment with limited or no stairs due to his mobility challenges. Hard surface flooring is a challenge for him. Bruce is currently taking the following medications: carprofen, apoquel and levothyroxine. Ready to fall in love? Come and meet Bruce today! Bruce is from one of our northern reservation partners. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Peech! She's a gentle soul, still finding her confidence in this big world. She delights in spending time in the yard, reveling in the simple joys of rolling in the grass and chasing leaves. While she's making progress with house training, accidents still happen occasionally. Peech finds solace in her kennel, although she may vocalize her discomfort briefly when closed in. She's making strides in her nighttime routine, though she still needs to go out once or twice. Food and treats are her main motivators, and she's eager to please. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle her, but she's gradually learning to navigate her environment. While she may seem reserved, she secretly craves love and attention. Treats and getting down to her level can coax out some affection, although she's not yet initiating it herself. She enjoys walks if the other dog in the home is with.  She's observing the resident dogs closely, perhaps taking notes on how to build her own confidence. Peech hasn't encountered young children yet, and she remains cautious around adults. However, she's more likely to approach when they're seated or at her eye level. With patience, love, and time, she's sure to blossom into a more confident and playful companion. Peech does need to be adopted to a home with another dog.   Peech is from an owner surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there, I'm Diego! I'm thrilled to meet new folks and can't wait to meet you. My foster mom describes me as a big, friendly sweetheart, and people often compliment me on my looks. Mornings are my favorite, especially sitting on the deck with my foster mom, savoring the sounds of birds while she enjoys her coffee. I'm pretty skilled at going into my crate, although I'll express my discontent if I'm left out of the action when there's a lot of noise. I just want to join the fun! I do very well out of my crate at night and when my foster mom is at work, I stay busy snacking on my kong or napping. I'm well-versed in basic commands, sitting eagerly for treats and gently taking them. Toys are my passion! Whether it's stuffed, squeaky, or chewable, count me in. I'm even getting the hang of fetch. Leash training is a work in progress, but I'm improving. Walks help me burn energy, preparing me for cozy evenings on the couch with my humans. I'd happily be a lap dog when tired, settling for just being close to my people. If you want a handsome, clever companion who brings joy, I'm your match! Diego enjoys meeting new friends but may gently jump up, although a baby gate helps manage this. He interacted well with his Foster’s 8-year-old stepson and is gradually meeting the resident dog. Diego adores toys but needs supervision, as he may attempt to ingest stuffing. He's generally not destructive with toys and loves tug-of-war and squeakers. His adorable head tilt and smiling demeanor melt hearts. He's becoming more at ease, his wagging tail a testament to his comfort. Diego usually is ready for outdoor time and breakfast via a puzzle feeder around 7am. He's skilled at solving puzzles. He loves spending time with me on the deck. He gets breaks for leash training and spends evenings hanging out with me, relishing meeting new people. He's particularly fond of my stepson and often ends the day dozing on the couch. When relaxed, Diego crosses his front legs and showcases his endearing head tilt when listening. This handsome boy has a history of seizures and currently is taking daily medication. He is well controlled and we have not seen any seizures since entering rescue. Diego is from a local impound. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Introducing Gregory, your new best friend! He is a big lovable goof who is looking for a human best friend that is as committed to him and he will be to you. He is a classic GSD through and through, in all the best ways—loyal, lovable & affectionate, incredibly smart, observant, and trainable. Gregory is a sensitive guy and thrives in a calm predictable household where he understands your expectations and is able to please you. He responds well to positive redirection, and gets scared or confused by scolding or alpha approaches. He would prefer to be by your side at all times, but if you leave he will accept it (with a short little tantrum). Gregory loves structure but also is always up for exciting fun.  A dream day for Gregory would be filled with treat eating, chasing balls, squeaking fluffy toys, taking long walks, and running in open spaces—all with his human and maybe a best dog buddy too! Gregory is respectful of dog–savvy cats and enjoys dog friends on the medium to larger side, with slow controlled introductions. He is nimble with his almost 100lb body but still overestimates his size and strength so small dog friends are not ideal.  Gregory would also love a house with only adults, or one with older children. He is cautious and sometimes has big emotions when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. The commotion that comes with kids running, playful shouting, strange people entering (we humans call them friends) visiting, might be too much for Gregory to stay regulated despite trying to be the best boy all the time. He walks well on a leash with minimal pulling or prey chasing, but can be overly curious if he gets too close to other dogs. Overall he is easy to handle if you’re willing to cross the street when needed. He is also crate trained (but doesn’t like it and will cry for a few minutes) but does well roaming the house as long as there’s not some good leftovers in the garbage or enticing food on the counter. He’s generally not a counter surfer or jumper in general, but when faced with temptation, we all have the capacity to give in, don’t we? Gregory is proud to have earned his place in his foster human’s heart, as she thinks he is one of her very favorite dogs to have ever fostered. That deserves a medal of some sort, or at least a perfect family for him, right?   Gregory is from a local impound. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Sierra Vista and I am the cutest puppy you have ever seen! Ok, so maybe I am too confident, but seriously, do you see how cute I am? I am a happy medium of both playful and calm that makes the perfect puppy. I have a very sweet face and the softest fur. I like playing with toys, my siblings, and kids. I am learning to walk on a leash right now and my foster Mom says I would do really well in a puppy training class! I think I will be the best in the class! I am doing well learning all the things puppies must learn and I promise I will do my very best for you.    Do you think I can come share my awesomeness with you?   Sierra Vista is from a local reservation.
