Story
Kaiser is a beautiful 4 year old German Shepherd with a calm, steady presence and a wonderful temperament. He is well trained and knows how to settle nicely in the home, making him an easy companion who enjoys being close to his people. Kaiser has joint issues that will require ongoing management, including a home with no or very few stairs and proper pain management for the rest of his life. This is essential to ensure his long term comfort, quality of life and well being throughout his expected normal lifespan for a German Shepherd. Experience with German Shepherds or similar breeds is strongly suggested. Kaiser would thrive in a home that values routine, calm enrichment and quality time over high impact activity. Kaiser is ready for a home that will love him for who he is and prioritize his comfort and well being. Adoption fee is $350+ tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
Chip is an eager-to-please pup who's ready to find his perfect match. His boundless enthusiasm makes him a star in training-he's already completed the puppy training program through Courteous K9! Chip thrives when he's active, whether it's going on adventures, learning new tricks, or just being your loyal sidekick. When he's not on the move, Chip loves to snuggle up by your side or follow you around the house, proving he's just as much a cuddler as he is a go-getter. He does well when left at home on his own but would truly shine with an active owner who can match his energy and help him channel it positively. As a German Shepherd, Chip would do best with someone who has experience with the breed or similar breeds and understands their need for both physical and mental stimulation. If you're looking for a motivated, loving companion who will keep you moving and melt your heart, Chip is your guy! Chip needs to go to a home with no children Adoption fee is $350+ tax; please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
Kaiser is a friendly, highly trainable shepherd we’ve had since 12 weeks old. He has a medium drive and a temperament often compared to a Lab—excitable, affectionate, and people-oriented. He enjoys rally, agility, and nosework but is not a high-intensity working dog. He has strong obedience, is e-collar trained, kennels easily, is regularly boarded, and does well in doggy daycare with other dogs. We are rehoming Kaiser due to hyperlaxity in his ligaments, which has caused arthritis in his wrists. With daily pain medication, he has an excellent quality of life, but our vet recommends a home with fewer stairs and a quieter lifestyle for his long-term comfort. This is a medical decision only—no behavioral issues. We’re committed to finding Kaiser a loving, appropriate home and can share vet records and training details.

Story
She is super friendly puppy that LOVES people of all ages. She's a social dog that loves saying hi to anyone she meets. She's been socialized since birth with a variety of dogs of all breeds and sizes. She gets along great with every dog she meets. She's also young enough to learn how to live with cats. Mom is a mix of some sort, we see Shepherd and Corgi. Dad is unknown, momma was found on a reservation and a partner rescue reached out to see if we could help. She will be up to date on her first distemper, has been on a deworming schedule and will have a health exam prior to adoption. The adopter will take over the responsibility of getting her spayed at the age your vet feels is best. They were born on 10/25. A DNA test was done and they came back at 38.5% German Shepherd, 35% Australian Cattle dog and 26.4% Supermutt! If you are interested, please fill out an application on our website and a volunteer will be in touch. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFMN/Dog

Story
Meet Lucy and Ricky! (They need to be adopted together)This adorable bonded pair has been with each other through thick and thin. They originally came to PCHS back in 2021 and were here for a few months and were adopted. After 4 and half years they found their way back to us through no fault of their own. Their family was moving to an assisted living program and could not take the dogs with. Understandably, they are a bit unsure being back in shelter but they are adjusting quickly. We are hoping their stay with us can be short. They enjoy going out for walks, getting attention and chilling on a nice comfy dog bed. They have lived with cats and have done well with them. Not only are they cat friendly, but they are used to be around kids from ages 2-12 years. These two would make a great addition to almost any household. *Ricky does have an old injury to his hip/tail so he walks with a bit of a `hitch` in his step but it does not seem to cause pain. He has had this since he was under a year old and has been doing well, he just walks a little `funny`.If this bonded pair sounds like a good match for you, apply online today!Adoption fee for the pair is $200 + $30 microchip fee (each) + tax
