Story
Miley has been by my side for the last 9 years. She’s the kind of dog who presses her head into your chest when she wants to say “I love you” without words. She’s loyal, gentle with people, and happiest when she’s by your side—on a walk, curled up nearby, or just keeping watch over the room. But a couple of years ago, things began to shift. Miley and my other dog, Woody, started having occasional fights—something that never happened during their 4 years together. At first, we managed it, but the behavior has gotten worse over time. Even with veterinary help and medication, Miley has become increasingly aggressive toward Woody, and it’s no longer safe for them to live together. It breaks my heart, but I know what she needs most now is a quiet, pet-free home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved. Miley thrives around people—she adores adults, walks great on a leash, and still has so much love to give. She’s 10 years old but healthy, playful. We want to find her a peaceful home.

Story
Bailey is 4 yrs old, a great protector and is very loyal. She is very high energy and needs lots of room to run and play. Bailey is great with kids but her high energy can be too much for smaller children (crawling age to about 5yrs old). She gets along with other dogs for the most part but was attacked by a Rottweiler as a puppy so that breed has always been a trigger for her. No health issues or major injuries. Bailey is sensitive to chicken meal in kibble. Bailey would really benefit with an individual who has experience with German Shepards and can give her the proper training. Her shots are not up to date which is why the adoption fee is on the low end.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ali is available for adoption!  This gorgeous pup is a German Shepherd, almost 4 months old and about 25 pounds!  Ali and her brother Slate came to us from Texas, where they were born into rescue.   The puppies are absolutely beautiful! They are smart and typical German Shepherds—loyal, curious, and affectionate. Like all puppies, they are playful, energetic, and full of mischief! It's essential that they receive training from the start to ensure they grow into well-behaved adult dogs. German Shepherds are working dogs that need mental and physical stimulation. Both pups are crate trained, and we have begun introducing them to the leash, although they are not yet trained to walk on it yet. They are doing remarkably well with house training, having very few accidents. In their foster home, they have access to a fully fenced yard, which really helps with training and allows them to exercise properly. They love to be outside and would stay out all day if they could! These puppies are food motivated, which helps in starting their basic training skills. Please remember that, although they are large, they are still just puppies, and training will be your responsibility. It requires time, love, and a lot of patience!   Meet the lovely Ali, our adorable white shepherd! She currently weighs around 25 pounds, which is typical for female white shepherds—they tend to be on the smaller side. Ali is such a smart and curious girl, though she has a little bit of a stubborn streak!  Always ready for an adventure, she’s the first to dive into new experiences, whether they’re good or bad. Recently, she’s been getting braver about the kiddie pool and is even learning to put her mouth underwater to grab her favorite toys and chewies.  Ali absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs and, like her buddy Slate, she’s happy to be submissive to the bossy little ones in her foster home. She’s discovering the joys of playing with toys too!  And did we mention she loves to take naps on her back? She's such a beautiful girl and will make an amazing companion for all the fun summer adventures that lie ahead! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Ali is up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  She is scheduled to be spayed on 7/15 and will be able to go to a new home after!  Her adoption fee is $600 01 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 9, 2025, 6:52 am

It requires time, love, and a lot of patience!   Meet Slate, a big, lovable guy who will likely grow to over 70 pounds! If you’re ready for a big buddy, he’s the one! Slate is already on guard duty, barking when he hears the neighbors, which shows he will make a fantastic watchdog. He’s super easy to correct and is very submissive with the smaller dogs in his foster home. Slate just wants to make his foster mom happy and absolutely loves being showered with affection! He’s discovering the joy of toys and has even started splashing around in the kiddie pool. After all that fun, he’s quick to settle down for a snooze. Slate adores spending time outside and is making great strides in learning what it means to be a house dog. He’s a lot of fun to have around!
