He might just convince you to invest in agility equipment—or at least a solid game of fetch. He could live with another playful dog buddy (after proper intros, of course), but cats? Yeah…Hans says that’s a hard no.If you’re ready for a bouncy best friend with the legs of a runway model and the soul of an athlete, Hans is your guy!

Story
Meet MarlaAge: 7 years Weight: 55 lbs Breed: German ShepherdMarla’s been around the block—and definitely raised a few litters along the way—but now it’s her turn to be doted on. She arrived at the shelter recently and immediately became everyone’s favorite mellow girl. She’s the kind of dog who settles right into a routine, walks politely on leash, and gives you the `I got this` nod while surveying the world with wise, amber eyes. Shepherd people: you’ll be stunned at how low-key this girl is.Marla coexists well with calm dogs, but if the vibe gets rowdy, she’ll let you know she’s not interested in joining the chaos. Same goes for kids—she might be happiest in a home with respectful, older children who match her peaceful energy. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with good manners and a gentle soul, Marla might just be your match. If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.

Story
We took a trip to Virginia to get our dog. He is a pure bred German Shepherd! He is about 4 years old as he was born on January 4 2021. We stopped taking him to dog parks this last year, but prior to that he was well behaved around other dogs and people. He is still friendly with people so long as he is off his leash, otherwise he is very protective. He is very sweet and knows basic tricks. He listens well and is trained within the home. He has been around our daughter since she was born and she is now almost two so he knows how to be around children. He has a minor skin problem which was deemed common within his breed. We were told it’s reliant on the food he eats. We find that when he is alone he picks at it which makes it appear worse. it’s been the hardest decision to want to re-home him, but we know he deserves a better life. With life changing things happening, we have struggled with spending the time with him that he needs.
