Story
Polaris is a young girl who was found dumped on the side of the road with a bag of dog food dumped on the ground as her only help for survival. A good samaritan picked her up and contacted me. Help Polaris never face that kind of treatment again by giving her a forever home. She is very sweet and friendly and great with other dogs and people and kids. She definitely has a prey drive though, which is not at all unusual for dogs, so no kitties or small animals. She walks well on the leash and does well in a crate. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Story
Bubbie is a beautiful male white shepherd mix who will make someone a great pet. He is goofy, happy, and friendly and good with other dogs. He and his brother Spot found themselves at a high kill shelter through no fault of their own and were scheduled for euthanasia. Bubbie is about a year old, walks well on the leash, and does well in a crate. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. Story
I adopted Lincoln from the Toledo Humane Society Over three years ago. He was the first dog I've had since living on my own. Lincoln is a wonderfully smart dog who loves to play and be with his family. He was sent here from Arizona but the humane society didn't know his backstory unfortunately. There were signs after bringing him home that he may have been abused. He is house trained, Lincoln knows, Sit, Stay, Lay down, Wait, Speak, and can do a cute half way roll over. (his attempt at rolling over anyway lol). He pulls a bit on walks but not the worst pulling dog I've seen by a longshot. He just likes to sniff, if we're walking on pavement or away from grass he walks right along side me. However, with him being a German Shepherd he needs more space and more attention than I am able to give. If you have a backyard and people to be around I can almost 100% assure you this guy will be remembered as the best dog ever. I know he has been for me!
