Meet Dodger. He was saved from an overcrowded shelter where he was at risk of euthanasia. He is now fully vetted, neutered and all vaccines. Dodger did test positive for Ehrlichia before he came to us and was put on a regimen of doxycycline. He should need no further treatment and has no symptoms. He loves to play with other dogs and would benefit from another dog in the household. Probably not a good candidate for a home with cats. He is a friendly guy but young children may not be a good fit due to his exuberance . I do prefer a fenced yard for Dodger so he can play and burn off energy. His foster dad has been working on commands with him and Dodger is a quick learner and doing great. He has mastered many commands. He is a smart leaner and wants to please. He will heed a caregiver willing to exercise him. His foster family has told us that he loves to swim in their pond. His adoption fee is $200. Hi! I’m Wren ♥️ Let me tell you my story 📚 I used to have a friend named Winnie 😔 Out on the streets, it was always me and her together. We slept curled up against each other at night because it was cold and scary, and we only had each other. She was sicker than I understood, but I stayed close anyway. She was my safety, my family, my whole world 🌎 People finally tried to help us. They fought for Winnie 😔 They rushed her to emergency care and hoped maybe love had found us in time. But sometimes life is cruel to dogs who have been forgotten for too long, and Winnie didn’t make it. She did get to experience six days of a warm home and love 🥹 I don’t really understand where she went. I just know one minute she was beside me, and then suddenly I was alone 😔 After Winnie died, I ended up at the shelter. Loud noises, strange people, and so many barking dogs, I was terrified. I kept waiting for her to come back for me, but she never did 💔 That’s when they decided to save me too. They named me Wren, but the truth is I think I’m here because people saw how much Winnie mattered. They didn’t want her story to end with both of us being lost. So in honor of her, they tagged me and promised my life would mean something too 🥹 I’m safe now. I am fully vetted, I am fed, I am warm. But I’m still learning how to stop being afraid all the time 🥺 I’m very shy when I meet new people. I want to trust you, I really do, but the world hasn’t always been kind to me. Sometimes I hang back and just watch quietly, trying to figure out if I’m safe. But if you are patient with me, something soft begins to happen. I’ll start following you from room to room. I’ll lie nearby just because being close to you feels nice. I’ll look at you with my whole heart once I realize you aren’t going to hurt me. I like other dogs. They make me feel calmer. I’m gentle, quiet, and honestly just looking for a place where nobody expects me to be perfect right away ♥ I know I’m not the easiest dog in the world 😔 I may not run into your arms the first day we meet. I may need time to learn what love feels like when it’s safe and permanent. But I promise once I trust you, I will love you in the quietest, deepest way. I survived the streets. I survived losing Winnie. Now I’m just hoping there’s someone out there who will choose me 🥹 Not because they pity me, but because they see me. Sadly, I need to rehome Marshall. I adopted him from our local dog pound in January of 2026. He's been the best dog ever until strangers appear. He barks and lunges. I am able to control him and he listens very well. He took to me immediately and within the first week was laying in my bed ,completely relaxed with legs wide open! He trusts me. He knows some commands.Sit,stay,here..He walks well on leash,I use a choker collar. He is very routine, eats twice a day,loves his BALL! He is house and crate trained. He gets certain treats daily. He is alone daily because I work and his job is to watch the house. He is very patient and loyal. I recommend that he lives in a home with no children or other dogs. He has traveled in a car. He is a great dog and companion. It truly breaks my heart to rehome him and fear most won't give him a chance because of his aggression towards strangers. I DO NOT fear him. He has never shown aggression towards me. Great pet for single lady.Questions, please ask.

Looking to rehome our almost 8 year old German shepherd. She is good with our kids and is our only pet. Gets along with other dogs and goes on play dates with friends with dogs. Not a big fan of cats. Loves to play fetch. We are busy with life and two young kids, we love our dog very much but haven’t been able to be home as much. As our dog is getting older she needs to be home with someone more and we want her to have good care. She had both ccl surgeries on her back legs when she was four due to slipping on our deck when it was rainy. she does great and has no issues with her hips or knees, the doctor did a great job with her ccl surgeries. If she is extremely active sometimes she likes to lay down more as she has gotten older. Iris loves dog treats and knows commands of sit and lay down. She has always been in a fenced in yard. We want her to go to a loving home.
