Story
Hi there, I’m Stetson! I’m about 8–12 months old (we’re not totally sure), but one thing is certain: I’m small for my breed because I didn’t get the best start in life. I came from a rural Oklahoma shelter where they thought I was a tiny 4-month-old puppy with a broken pelvis. Surprise! Turns out I’m older—and my femur had once been completely shattered and healed on its own. Because it healed without surgery, one of my back legs is a little shorter, giving me the cutest little hop when I run and play. It doesn’t stop me one bit, but it does mean I may have some arthritis as I get older. I hope you won’t let that scare you away—I love walks, playtime, and exploring the world! I’m currently living with three dogs and a cat. I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like, but I definitely prefer playful friends, because I can be a bit… annoying to the older grumpy sister dog in my house. As for the cat, well—I can’t decide if she’s a friend or some sort of strange alien creature. I’m not aggressive at all, but I may bark at her occasionally just to voice my confusion. I adore people and would do great in an active home with older kids. I’m still pretty mouthy and learning how to play gently, so I wouldn’t want to accidentally hurt a tiny human. I’m eager to please, very redirectable, and doing awesome with structure and consistency. I’m fully house-trained, crate-trained, and I sleep through the night in my crate like a champ. My favorite hobbies include emptying the toy box, playing with every toy I find, and showing off my flirt-pole skills—I’m a pro at catching that thing! If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, resilient, and incredibly loving companion with a signature hop, I just might be your guy.

Story
I accepted Sarge in 2019 from a couple who was attempting to find him a home. I told them that if they didn't find anyone that would take him to bring him to me and I would care for him. Since that time he has been a house pet and has had some training. He walks on leash, will play with neighborhood kids off leash when they come around. He gets routine medical checkups through Banfield Hospital in Midwest city. Im seeking to rehome him as my health is becoming worse and it is becoming difficult to care for him.

Story
Dewey was found on the highway. So he can be protective of his person and loves being around people. Doesn’t mind other animals in the house. He’s very goofy because he loves to play but he doesn’t realize how big he is, which is why a house with older children (7 years old and above) is better for him. He’s very smart and picks up on training fairly quickly. Loves to go on walks and car rides.

Story
Meet Hank – The Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold Hank’s story is one of quiet resilience and transformation. He came to us as a stray, underweight, unsure of people, and a bit rough around the edges. But with patience, love, and time, Hank has blossomed into the calmest, most affectionate dog in our home—and we have five! The Basics: Breed: Mixed Weight: ~65 lbs Age: ~7 years Training: House and kennel trained Dog Friendly: Yes – though he’s more of a chill observer than a playmate Cat Friendly: Yes – with proper introductions Kid Friendly: Yes – with respectful kids aged 7+ Leash Manners: Excellent Energy Level: Low – happy with short walks and long naps Hank is a laid-back guy who roams the house freely at night, sleeps like a pro, and asks for nothing more than a soft spot to curl up. He’s not a high-maintenance dog. No long hikes or endless games of fetch required—just some gentle companionship, a little outdoor time, and maybe a couch to share. He’s even come a long way with cats! While he was initially a bit barky and curious, he’s now perfectly fine living peacefully alongside them. He’ll still watch them with interest but doesn’t chase or bother them. Responsible introductions and monitoring are still a must, just to be safe. Things to Know About Hank: He’s the definition of a love bug. He’ll rest his head in your hands, close his eyes, and soak up the snuggles. He’s sensitive to storms and fireworks—no shaking or drooling, just some panting and a strong desire to be close to his human. A little Benadryl (vet-approved) helps him through it. Hank does have one boundary: he doesn’t like his collar tugged. Luckily, he’s great at responding to voice commands, so there’s really no need to ever yank on him. Because of this, all children in the home should be old enough to understand and respect his space. Hank might be a little reserved at first, but once he trusts you, he’s loyal to the core. He’s been through a lot and still chose to love. If you're looking for a steady companion with a big heart and an even bigger cuddle quota, Hank’s your guy.

Story
Ryn is a unique German Shepherd mix of 17 different breeds, according to a DNA test. She is an energetic, playful, and outstandingly smart dog. She hopes that her new family can appreciate her spirited qualities, reciprocate the loyalty she shows, and love her forever! Some silly facts: She will chase her flirt pole toy to the ends of the earth. She clumsily slides off the couch but also jumps like a kangaroo. She likes plush toys and frisbees better than balls. She has floppy ears and a “bleppy” tongue. Ryn loves women and is more instantly comfortable with them (woman / women family adopter is ideal). Ryn will thrive in a home without cats or young kids (doesn’t know her own strength & energy / she’s mouthy). Ryn enjoys playing with other dogs, but needs a slow and proper introduction. Ryn loves walks in calmer parks that aren’t too crowded, so she can sniff without distractions. Ryn might not appreciate a drive-thru but she loves car rides. Ryn enjoys activity like playing with toys and training commands. Ryn is potty trained and can use door jingle bells. Ryn knows multiple commands (sit, wait, lay down, go “to spot”, come, leave it). Ryn loves to chew on bones and roll over for belly rubs. Ryn always gets compliments on how pretty she is.
