Story

Myra was abandoned as a puppy near Overholser Lake when she was taken in. She has been chipped, spayed, and regularly gone to the vet for check ups and anything that may need attention. She is full of life and loves to use her energy outside. For the "No" on "good with kids," this is from her lack of experience with children. Currently I don't have any small humans in the house and she has been used to playing with someone who is bigger than her. As she is still young, that doesn't mean that she can't learn, as with learning a new family in general. When I adopted Myra, I was working from home. As my work has changed to in person, I have a lot less time that I am able to devote to her. I have made the difficult decision that is time to rehome her so that she can be tended to with more love.

Reba is a great girl! She was found roaming at a cemetery by one of our fosters. Reba is house trained, crate trained, walks good on leash, rides good in car and loves treats. She is dog friendly with slow intros but would also be perfectly content as an only dog. She can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but as soon as shes comfortable she will be their best friend! She loves belly rubs and will roll over begging for them. She is a big fan of stuffed toys and likes to carry them around in her mouth. Its the cutest! Reba is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm and tick borne disease negative and has been on preventatives! Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes! Hi, hi, oh hi! My name is Bella and I am so happy to meet you. I am a six year old girl that weighs over eighty pounds. They think I am a German shepherd mix. I came to the rescue after my family was moving and they dropped me off at a city shelter where I could die. Lucky for me the rescue came and took me out of there. So I am looking for a safe, new home. I am a fun, water loving girl. I enjoy my people, cuddles and car rides. I have been around cats and will play with other dogs but am best suited as an only dog or have a male furry friend. I know how to use a doggie dog, am house trained and know my basic manners. I like to stay close to my people. Everyone has faults and mine is high value resource guarding. I absolutely think Kleenex and treats are very valuable and don’t want to give them up or share them. I have been working on it with a trainer and she can help you and me both. For those reasons I think small children are not a good match for my new home. I do enjoy activity like walking or playing ball but with my size I admit my endurance is low. I am curious and sometimes get distracted exploring new things. You know, I guess you could say I like to check out my surroundings. I have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and am current on my heartworm/flea & tick preventatives. My adoption fee is 150.00. Okay everyone- meet Biscuit! Also known as Biscuits and Gravy, Lobster Bisque, Bisquick, Biscotti, the list goes on! Biscuit might appear like he’s all business, but in reality he is 100% a giant goofball puppy. He doesn’t realize he’s 65lbs and likes to be held like a baby on your lap while his tummy is rubbed . (Bonus points if you sing lullabies to him!) He’s a talkative guy but settles nicely. He’s great at using the bathroom outside, and cues when he needs to go! He likes toys and has not shown interest in chewing on things that are not his. He's fantastic in his crate! Biscuit is now accepting applications for a full time belly rub giver and lullaby serenader He does well with other dogs and is submissive and playful.
