Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Unknown. This handsome boy is curious about everything. Sometimes *too* curious? During his assessment, he spent a lot of time investigating the world, wondering what things were, whether they were safe, and if perhaps they required further investigation. The answer was usually yes. What Stetson Kevin Is Like:- Energetic, curious, and always on the move- Building confidence in new situations- Friendly with people and eager to engage- Loves exploring more than listening to directions- Occasionally makes questionable decisions, but with enthusiasmFor example, Stetson Kevin was deeply suspicious of a dog statue in the lobby. A statue. Of a dog. To be fair, once he realized it wasn`t coming to life, he recovered quickly and moved on with his day. That pretty much sums him up: things can feel a little overwhelming at first, but he`s learning that most of the world is actually pretty okay. When meeting people, Stetson Kevin was sweet and friendly, though he occasionally expressed his excitement by jumping up to say hello. With other dogs, he started out unsure but gradually became more confident, eventually inviting play in his own slightly awkward, enthusiastic way.Stetson Kevin`s Ideal Home Looks Like:- Kids around 10+, on a case-by-case basis- Other dogs, pending meet-and-greets- An active family that enjoys training and adventure- Humans who appreciate a dog with opinions, curiosity, and a sense of humorStetson Kevin feels like the kind of dog who`s going to make his future family laugh every single day. He`s smart, sensitive, endlessly entertaining, and trying very hard to figure out this whole `being a dog` thing. The dog statue has already fo

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ubba is ready for his forever home! ODAAT was contacted about a found dog stray, after research we were able to determine that the dog had recently been given away. This dog has been through it and deserves a committed family. He was born approx May 2020 and he is a GSD. He is very active and would love an active family. He loves toys, running and playing. He is great with kids! Because of his activity level we would prefer older children, 10+. He does great with other dogs and a home with someone to play with would be perfect for him. We would advise no cats as he does have a prey drive. He is extremely intelligent and eager to please. He is potty trained, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you would like to welcome Ubba into your family, please apply at www.onedogatatime.us When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. This process takes time and we do not adopt out on a "first come first served" basis. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Toby is looking for a HERO! Today has waited 3 long years for you to find him. Toby was failed so many times. Turned into a shelter with his brother in Florida and was adopted by a couple who moved to PA and left him tied in a carport. He managed to escape, and a kind gentleman housed him overnight until we could try to find his owner. In the morning, we picked him up, and on our way to the rescue, his owner contacted us. We went to meet with them and when told where he was staying, we asked if they would prefer to surrender instead of him living outside all alone. They agreed to surrender and then handed up the paperwork from the shelter. That is when we realized, this poor boy was heartworm positive. The shelter had told the adopters and even provided them with vet information and free treatment... months later, he had still not received the life-saving vet care. Since being with ODAAT he has received his heartworm treatment and has been patiently waiting for his forever family to find him. He is a good boy who would do best in an only dog home. He is actually fearful of other dogs. He is the bestest boy. Toby was born in September 2018. If you would like a companion who would love to go for walks and lay at your feet while you work, Toby is your boy. When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. Story
We found Mable walking on the side of the road, one cold rainy night in November. We are looking to rehome her because she is too large for our house with our 4 cats. She does good with the cats. She wants to play with them but they want nothing to do with her. When we take her on walks, she seems interested in some dogs and not others. We have not tested her with other dogs. We think she's about 5 years old. She very loveable and likes being the center of attention. She loves sleeping in bed with us and lying with us on the couch. She would need an owner that is a runner or active. She loves to be chased in the backyard or playing defender for me while I practice hockey in the garage. While she is not spayed, we are willing to help with the process if the new owner would like it done.

Story
Meet Tommy: The Gentle Soul with a Playful HeartTommy is a sweet and sensitive Shepherd-Husky mix with a heart full of love—he just takes a little time to share it. This shy boy may be reserved with new people, especially men, but don’t let that fool you—once you’ve earned his trust (especially if you come bearing treats), he’ll be your most loyal companion. He’s especially fond of women and warms up to them more quickly, but with patience, kindness, and snacks, he opens up beautifully to anyone willing to go at his pace.Dog-friendly and submissive, Tommy thrives in the company of other dogs. Playing with canine friends is his absolute favorite thing in the world, and he shines in a pack. Whether it’s a good game of chase, romping around the yard, or simply lounging with a buddy, he’s happiest when he has dog friends around. He’s also a playful pup on his own—give him a bone to chew or a ball to chase, and he’s content. Car rides? He’s all in. Food? Definitely the way to his heart. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who just needs a little extra time to blossom, Tommy might be the perfect match. With love, patience, and a doggy pal or two, he’ll reward you with a bond that’s truly special.
