Meet Max!This playful German Shepherd mix was found as a stray and spent a few days in his finders home before coming to us. They quickly discovered what were learning, too: Max is incredibly friendly, affectionate, cuddly, and a bit silly.He loves being around people and is always ready for some fun or some snuggles. Max is open to meeting other dogs and kids and would love a family who will keep his playful spirit going. As for cats, he`d prefer a home without them.If you`re interested in meeting Max, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. 🐾 Hi, I’m Saxon! 🐾 I’m a handsome German Shepherd with a BIG heart and an even bigger love for my person. ❤️ I’m a total cuddle bug and will happily climb right on top of you for snuggles, kisses, and all the love! I’m also very loyal and protective of my family. I can be nervous around new people, but give me some time and patience and I’ll warm up. I’m not a fan of other dogs, but I’m very bonded to my brother, and we need to stay together. ❤️ I have some separation anxiety, so I do best with lots of love, attention, reassurance, and fun busy toys to keep my brain occupied. When I’m stressed or left alone, I may occasionally have an accident in the house. I used to be crate trained but am not currently. I’m looking for a patient, loving home that understands I’m a sensitive guy who just wants to feel safe, included, and loved. In return, I’ll be your loyal shadow, biggest cuddle buddy, and best friend. 🐕❤️

Rammy has stolen the hearts of many volunteers. He is a sweet pup looking for love and companionship. He loves humans but is also a very shy boy. Rammy is great on a leash and thinks of his kennel as a safe place. You will occasionally find him checking in with his safe place and then coming back out, to be near his favorite human. He is a bit of a shadow and will never be too far from his family. Rammy’s perfect home would be a quiet one without a lot of people coming and going. If it gets too busy for him, he will quietly retreat to his kennel. He enjoys bully sticks and cow ears. He enjoys being home and taking short walks. He is good with other dogs and enjoys playing with his other four legged friends. He is currently working on potty training. Rammy weighs 55 lbs and estimated to be around 3 yrs old.
