Story
Meet Lacey: The intelligent, loving, and energetic shepherd. Lacey is a quick learner and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up to her owner. She is constantly expanding her vocabulary and takes pleasure in playing games like 'hide and seek' with her toys. Being an alpha female, she may test boundaries, but this is typical of intelligent, dominant shepherds. Therefore, she needs an owner who can be a strong leader. Lacey is friendly towards all people and loves socializing. She's a backyard enthusiast who enjoys chasing squirrels and has a moderate energy level. Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with cats and we do not feel like she would do well with young children. She pulls a bit on the leash at the beginning of her walks, but settles down after a few minutes and loves taking rides in the car. Lacey is trustworthy and will make a loyal companion, adventure buddy, and a treasured member of any household. Lacey is a German Shepherd mix about 55lbs and about 3 years old.  Color: Cream/Black Housebroken: Yes Lacey is a healthy active young lady.  If you are interested in learning more about Lacey, please fill out our online application here: https://forms.gle/fXPLCeGhpAxvu7Ws8 . Story
Meet Sydney, a serene and affectionate Belgian Malinois Shepherd mix with a heart as gentle as her gaze. Sydney is the definition of calm—nothing seems to faze her. She’s incredibly dog and cat friendly, and her low to medium energy level makes her a wonderful match for a peaceful home. Sydney is being fostered in a loving home in San Antonio, TX, where she gets along beautifully with her German Shepherd foster sister. Sydney walks beautifully on a leash and makes an excellent walking buddy for those who enjoy quiet neighborhood strolls. However, her true happy place is outside—she absolutely thrives in a yard where she can explore, relax, and enjoy nature. A home with outdoor space is a must for this sweet girl. Potty trained and polite, Sydney is well-mannered around the house. She's a little shy when meeting new people or visiting unfamiliar places, so she’ll need a patient and loving family willing to give her time to settle in. Once she trusts you, she’ll show you her soft, affectionate side and soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. Sydney is also a cozy cuddle buddy—she loves curling up next to you on the couch for some quiet bonding time. While she’s not a fan of car rides, Sydney is happy living the homebody life. She’s currently looking for a foster or adopter in Central Texas who can offer her the calm, consistent environment she deserves. If you're looking for a gentle, loyal companion, Sydney is ready to make your heart her home. Story
Melbourne is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a calm demeanor and an adventurous spirit. He is an affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys being part of their lives. He is not a fan of car rides but enjoys the activity when you get there. Whether it’s joining you for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out in the backyard, he’s always ready for an adventure. His laid-back nature makes him easy to have around, but he also has the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with an active lifestyle. Although Melbourne is friendly with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in his home, where he can soak up all the attention. He thrives in a structured environment and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal companion to share it with. Melbourne’s calm and adaptable nature means he can settle in easily, whether it’s a relaxed evening at home or an exciting day out. He’s looking for a family or individual who will appreciate his affectionate personality and adventurous side. If you’re ready to provide Melbourne with the loving home he deserves, he’s ready to fill your life with companionship, joy, and plenty of memorable adventures. Could you be the one to give Melbourne his forever home? To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link.
