Blackie is sweet 7 yr shepherd to whom life has not been kind. The pic is from younger days we realized when we got him…. He will need some TLC . No hair on his tsil and fur is sparse..But he was so happy to see his brother Poncho! Poncho is a sweet, senior 7 yr old , long-haired boy who initially was surrendered to us. We later found out he had a brother from a different mother, not a St Bernard. As we are not in the habit of splitting up pairs, we are looking for a home that will take them together! Double the love! . Good with other dogs, kids, adults. Neutered, heartworm, negative, vaccinated, and microchips. Owner surrender , speak Spanish (but willing to learn English!) looking for his furever home. Located in Texas with National Saint Bernard Rescue Foundation, out of state adoptions OK. Opal is a loving old lady. Actually, we are not sure how old she is, but she had a rough start. She was an outdoor only dog that lived under a porch and due to that, she did have Heartworms. Opal weighs about 60 pounds and gets along well with other dogs. She has been spayed, and is housebroken. Opal is looking for a quiet home where she gets rest, a warm bed, and lots of love. She doesn't ask for much attention, and would be a great companion for an older person, with the understanding that she may not have a very long lifespan due to permanent heartworm damage, but then again, you just never know! Sweet Pawsey is a German Shepherd and Lab mix who recently lost her owner. She is now in a foster's home where she is enjoying running and goofing around with another dog her size. It is said that she prefers being outdoors in the backyard, as she is now discovering the smell of grass and more space. She previously lived in an apartment. Also, she and her new dog mate loves to chase squirrels and frolicking in the sun. Pawsey still loves playing fetch with toys and also goes to sleep with them. Awww...!! She is a "gentlewoman" dog with the best manners, responding well to commands like sit, stay, lay down, etc. She is also housetrained. Unfortunately I’m having to re-home Willow. With going to college and other life situations I cannot give her the time she needs and will only have less time going forward. She’s a solid black, Intact working-line female, 70-75 lbs, turning 5 in July. No bite history. She is people-selective and does best with slow, neutral-ground introductions, especially with women. Not suitable for homes with children. She would probably be best being the only dog in the home, though she has historically been tolerant of certain large, calm male dogs in controlled situations. She is fine with cats. She’s incredibly sweet and loyal to people she knows, and a great watch dog.
