Forrest is 3 years old. He is extremely loving, and playful. He absolutely loves getting new toys and he’s not afraid to tell you when he doesn’t like certain food. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old and I love him so much. He’s extremely protective over me which is not the greatest thing. He’s gone through boarding and training on a farm and does well with female dogs that arr almost his size, about the same or bigger. He’s doesn’t do the best with male dogs and he’s very reactive. He’s house trained, knows his name, knows to go to his area when I say go to your bed. He sits, gives me his paws to clean when he comes from outside. He loves to play outside but he’s definitely an indoor dog, he tends to get overheated when out too long. He needs an experienced pet owner, who can handle his aggression. He’s a working dog and likes to stay busy but he loves to cuddle.

It is said that she prefers being outdoors in the backyard, as she is now discovering the smell of grass and more space. She previously lived in an apartment. Also, she and her new dog mate loves to chase squirrels and frolicking in the sun. Pawsey still loves playing fetch with toys and also goes to sleep with them. Awww...!! She is a "gentlewoman" dog with the best manners, responding well to commands like sit, stay, lay down, etc. She is also housetrained. It was also reported that she loves other dogs and all people, to include children. Please have it in your heart not to bypass a wonderfully active and healthy senior dog like Pawsey. Austin, TX area adoptions only. A fenced backyard is preferred. Pawsey's adoption fee of $250 includes the vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm/tick test & preventative, spay, and microchip.
