Story
Jack entered the shelter as a sweet, submissive young dog. He tried so hard. He was sent to a foster home… and then he was returned. Now, barely over 1 year old, Jack is facing euthanasia. He has been affectionate and friendly with some staff, unsure with others. He needs time, patience, and training ##2634418##

Story
Meet Princess (aka Trophy)   Princess, lovingly known as Trophy, is an 6 year-old female German Shepherd who proves that age is just a number. She’s energetic for her age, incredibly sweet, and always eager to please—especially if treats are involved! Princess is treat-motivated, knows her basic commands, and enjoys staying engaged with her people.   She would do best in a home with adults or older children where she can soak up attention and structure. Princess would  be a great match with another calm, older dog. She has not been cat tested.   Princess loves her toys, but fair warning—she’s a super chewer, so durable toys are a must! With her loyal heart, playful spirit, and gentle nature, Princess is ready to be someone’s cherished companion and forever Trophy girl. Currently fostered in Atlanta/South Carolina border area ##2574240##

Story
Dante is the kind of dog people walk past without realizing what they are missing. He is a middle aged German Shepherd mix, gentle, calm, and quietly hopeful. While others bark for attention, Dante waits. When someone stops, he leans in softly, takes treats with care, and asks for affection with his eyes. He is friendly, polite, and deeply human-oriented, the kind of dog who bonds quickly once given a chance. Dante came into the shelter as a stray and was neutered just a few short weeks ago. He has fully recovered from his surgery, yet now the shelter has placed him on the euthanasia list simply because he developed a mild, treatable upper respiratory infection. The very same institution that used resources to neuter him has decided his life is expendable. Dante is tucked away in a kennel at the very end of the row, easy to miss. He is not a puppy, and because of that, he has been overlooked again and again. But middle aged dogs like Dante are often the best companions. They are settled, affectionate, and grateful in a way that is hard to describe unless you have known one. ##2657151##

Story
Shiloh is a very loving very sweet dog. She does have a couple special needs and allergies. She's allergic to chicken and cannot lay down in grass otherwise she'll break out and chew her paws and stomache up. She loves walking outside She just can't lay in grass. She's done great with dogs in the past. She loves kids, she will lick them and sniff them but shes never violent and loves them. She's very hyper and needs her energy burned. She chews at her paws when she's anxious, which is whenever I'm not home all day. I really struggled to get her to eat but I found a food that she loves and shes doing so well after starting it. I really hate to have to find her a new home she really is such a sweet dog, however I'm getting married and moving soon and can't take her with me. She's a Malamute so she's VERY stubborn. She barks at bunnies and deer every time. And she has to be walked on a leash because she runs off. Her food is not very cheap so we'll provide two bags of her food.
