Story
Meet Ron Swanson, a 78-pound embodiment of minimal nonsense and maximum gentleman. At 3 years old, this German Shepherd mix carries himself with the quiet confidence of a man who whittles his own canoes and believes breakfast should come in the form of steak — maybe with a side of steak. Ron walks like a dignified park ranger on patrol: calm, steady, unfazed. No jumping, no rowdy antics — just a polite lean against your leg to say, “Yes, human. You may pet me now.” Neck scratches appreciated. Kisses offered in return. The mustache is metaphorical… but the energy is absolutely there. This handsome lad has been walked near dogs and even chickens like they were beneath his concern — a firm “meh” and onward he strolled. That’s a promising hint he could enjoy a respectful canine roommate, pending a meet-and-greet to ensure vibes are aligned. Ron Swanson is selective in his snack preferences — Milk Bones? Absolutely not. Hot dogs? Try again. A well-seasoned steak or something hearty and man-approved is more his style. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts stoic, affectionate, and politely unimpressed by poultry, Ron is ready to join you at home — preferably on the couch after The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
From the Foster Home: A confident girl with a long, beautiful coat, a typical shepherd personality and with lots of love to give. Emmie is around 7 years young - she is very young at heart. She`s affectionate, steady, and self-assured, always interested and observing the world around her. She is thrilled about everything and is ALWAYS ready to go, don’t let her age fool ya. She is very strong and generally walks well on leash but she needs some work on containing her non-stop excitement. Emmie is so gentle when it comes to food. Some of it is because her teeth were not cared for, so she is slow and steady when it comes to eating. She has the eagerness of a younger dog but because she is a bit older, so she needs an adopter who will care for all of her needs, including future ones. Emmie has lived with other dogs before and is living with two large males in her foster home. She is confident and playful, which not all dogs love, so she`ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to any new canine companions. She does fantastic in her crate and does not have any separation anxiety but she will need her daily exercise. If you`re looking for a mature, loyal companion who will go on any adventure and also chill out with you on the couch, she may be your perfect match. She`s ready to spend her golden years living life to the fullest and in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
Meet CEO of Nap Time, a seasoned executive in the fine arts of snoozing, snacking, and being an absolute delight. At 6 years old and a solid 87.6 lbs of pure cuddle potential, this big, sweet girl runs a tight operation: naps are mandatory, snacks are highly encouraged, and warm, cozy spots are non-negotiable benefits. She’s the kind of leader who believes in soft blankets, gentle pets, and leaning her entire body into you like it’s part of her job description (because it is). When she first clocked in with us, the CEO was dealing with some itchy skin and ears—very uncomfy, very not ideal—but our all-star vet team stepped in and got her feeling fabulous again. She’s officially cleared for adoption and ready to bring her expert-level relaxation skills straight into your home. If you’re looking for a loyal, fluffy boss who will happily manage morale from the couch, the CEO of Nap Time is now accepting applications. The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
HI - I'M BAILY! I'm a 1-year-old purebred German Shepherd girl in need of a foster or forever home. I am a sweet and affectionate girl. I would be a lap dog if I could, as I love to snuggle. I have done well with other dogs, and I weigh only about 50 lbs, though I'm a growing girl. I would love a home where I am the center of attention and can get plenty of love and exercise. I'm currently in Southern California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application, thanks.
