Story
Odin is a good dog. It’s going to be hard letting him go but it’s for the best. I have just moved into an apartment. He grew up in a house with a back yard . He loves running around and being outside. He’s a high energy breed. This apartment doesn’t meet his accommodations as an active dog. Just notice him getting a little more depressed missing not being able to go outside anytime so despite how hard it is, I must rehome him to a better home. He is not aggressive and get a little timid in new situations. Very active . Doesn’t really show personal affection but is more like a just play with me type of dog. Despite his shy behavior in a time of need he will defend himself or you because he’s very loyal

Story
If you're looking for a very sweet boy who can keep you active, River's your pup! He is incredibly playful and goofy and will always keep you entertained. He is a huge sweetheart that loves people more than anything. When we take him to the dog park, he often greets people there before playing with other dogs! He plays well with dogs (and although sometimes he's a little too energetic for them) he also does well with cats. River is not aggressive at all, although his excited bark might make you think that, he's really just saying he doesn't want to wait to say hi to new people or dogs. He's very energetic as a young high energy breed, so he'll need a fenced yard to run and play in or to be your new jogging buddy! River does love people so much that he doesn't take well to being alone for long periods of time and has developed separation anxiety. So, he will thrive in a home with someone who works remotely or where someone is home more often than not.

Story
Jerry is a three year old GSD who I adopted from the Humane Society one year ago. He's a great dog, but is high energy and needs steady work/exercise. He has some anxiety, which lessens with regular exercise. He was abused and neglected when I got him but I made sure he got good vet care and invested a lot of time and money with a professional trainer as well as follow-up training on my own. I just don't have the time to keep up with his energy needs. I'm being completely honest up front as I want to make sure he gets the right home, not just a good home.

Hi, my name is Frank and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jan 28, 2024. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
Hi my name is Peanut, I'm a very fun loving energetic dog, I get excited around other animals, I am not aggressive but I do get vocal and it tends to scare other dogs. I definitely need somebody who has experience with my breed and the training involved. I definitely need someone who has the ability to exercise me frequently or a large yard with room to play. I am not an ideal apartment dog. I absolutely love children however I am a big dog and I am still a puppy at heart so therefore little babies are probably not a good idea, at least until I can learn to control my excitement. I am food and toy Motivated.. I am looking for a Furever home that would be willing to hopefully keep in contact with my Human Mom, she is 16 and has had me my whole life but she is becoming an adult and is struggling to learn how to manage everything. Even though its hard I know she loves me and that's why we have to say Farewell.

He has a tendency to be dog selective but does well when introduced to less dominate dogs in a controlled environment. He has made great progress walking on a leash and following verbal cues such as sit, stay and down. RuRu is a very confident dog and becomes easily attached to his human. He is highly trainable and will need a patient adopter to continue his training. Kira is the perfect lap dog even though she may not fit completely on your lap! She's amazingly affectionate. She doesn't bark at other dogs but prefers to be an only dog. She is playful and fetch is her favorite game! She walks well on a leash and knows commands (sit, stay, paw, and retrieve). She is a well-behaved dog and crate trained. She is located in Texas, and we have transports available every few weeks. She is currently in a loving foster home. If you feel like Kira would be a good addition to your family unit, please contact us cherisheartanimalrescue@yahoo.com or give us a call at 210-334-7771 and leave a message and we will respond within 24 hours. We look forward in hearing from you! We are a 501c3 nonprofit rescue and your adoption fee is tax deductible. We can provide references if desired from other happy adopters.

Story
I rescued Summit when he was 3 months old. He is a high energy and very smart dog. I work long shifts and I do not have the time and energy he deserves to be given. Summit does very well with kids. He has never been aggressive, but does play rough with other dogs. Ideally summit needs a big backyard and an owner that can give him the excersize and attention he needs. He is a huge snuggler. Summit is crate trained and house trained.
