Story
Hexe is a pure bred blue German shepherd who is 10 years old. Never aggressive and very friendly with all humans, dogs, cats and kids. She was born with a congenital spine deformity and has trouble with her back legs. She can walk and hop up/down stairs. She is currently around young children and wants to play all the time. The more she plays and runs, the weaker she gets and requires rest with steroids to get back to herself. She needs a home that is calm, with other older dogs or older children that will not play with her. She doesnt realize if she runs too much, she won’t be able to walk. She is a very sweet elderly dog that we just cannot keep around our young, energetic children.

Story
Meet Filo, a one-year-old German Shepherd looking for his second chance!  Filo hasn’t had the easiest start in life. He came to HART from a dog hoarding situation and, as a result, struggles with some anxiety. But this handsome boy has so much potential. He just needs the right person to help him shine! Filo is a high-drive, intelligent, and trainable pup who thrives with structure and purpose. Because of his past, he can take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’ll be your loyal shadow for life. He loves having a job to do and is eager to please when given structure and consistency. When he gets frustrated or anxious, Filo can become a bit mouthy, but with proper training, exercise, and engagement, he channels that energy into learning and working. Filo would make an incredible working dog or active companion for someone who can give him the focus and purpose he craves. Filo will do best in a home that can provide structure, patience, and a clear training plan. We’re asking future adopters to include a plan for his training and daily structure when bringing him home. This will be key to helping him decompress, stay engaged, and thrive. To help Filo succeed, Scott Holliday from K9 Solutions in Grantsville has generously offered four free training classes for his adopter! This will help set him up for success and strengthen his bond with his new family. Because we believe so deeply in Filo’s potential, we’ve also waived his adoption fee. Story
Handsome Zulu is a German Shepherd mix, who may have Husky in him, though we aren't sure.  We think he is about 1 1/2 years old.  He is friendly, happy, and energetic.  He's very smart too, knowing how to sit, lie down, and shake.  He plays well with female dogs, and he's housebroken!  Zulu is a super nice boy who will make a great pet for some lucky family! Story
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our amazing boy.. He is about 2 years old and we originally adopted him from a K9 training group! He is a very smart and athletic dog. He is a bit shy at first but he will come around. He is a lover and just needs someone that can spend time with him and help him adjust to the "outside" world. My Husband and I are looking for a home that will love him and keep him active. He would do great with being the only dog in the home and he is house broken but spends most of his time playing outside in a fenced in yard. He is scared of loud noises and males but like I said, he will come around. He does get along with other dogs but needs to be introduced very slowly and carefully!
