Barbie is a large and sweet Shepherd mix girl, about a year old.  She was found as a stray, so we have no background information.  She likes to play with big dogs but is not good with cats.  She loves people's attention and is super affectionate.  She is doing great on her housebreaking.  We think she would be good with children 8 years and older. Mighty Maddox is a large and loveable 7-month-old German Shepherd mix pup.  He's full of energy and needs training, which he didn't receive as a small puppy.  He also has an abnormal gait due to a probable bone cyst on his front leg, which cannot be corrected by surgery or otherwise.  Because of his abnormal gait, we are lowering his adoption fee by half, and also offering 3 free training sessions with Scott Holliday at K9 Solutions in Grantsville, MD, if the adopter wants to take advantage of this.  Maddox is a sweet and smart boy and we are hoping to find a great adopter who will love him as much as we do! Myra just said good-bye to her last litter of puppies. She won't have to worry about having puppies any more. Now she can enjoy just being a dog. Her ears are listening for signs that someone is interested in her. Myra is a 6 year old German Shepherd Dog who is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, lymes positive (this will need to be monitored for flare ups), flea treated, wormed, spayed, and microchipped. Myra is getting a little older and has some aches and pains, so we have her on several supplements that she would need to remain on after adoption. She is also on medication twice a day for pain/anxiety. She tends to be a bit nervous when around strange people or in a new situation. Once she's comfortable though, she's very friendly. She prefers to keep to herself or be with her person. She tolerates calm dogs in passing but would do best as an only dog. She does not appear to like cats. NO children because of her nervousness and activity level. Myra loves toys and loves to play alone or with her person. She does resource guard toys and high value items with people and animals. She is protective of her home and person and needs an adopter with previous breed experience. **Applications will not be screened if they do not meet the listed requirements.**

However she is very gentle and Lovesssss the kids. Great with both dogs snd cats. She jumps on the trampoline with the kids in her foster home. She is working on leash training and house training but is extremely smart and wanting to please! She will have that all mastered in no time.
