Story
Myah`s history is a bit of a mystery. She came in as a stray with a microchip, but we found her former owner had passed away. Before that happened, he re-homed her with friends, but we can`t find them. She spent some time in an adoptive home, but is again available for adoption because she was not a good fit for a busy neighborhood. She is very sweet and house trained. We had ACL surgery done on both of her back legs. She is on an inexpensive medication due to some urinary incontinence and will come with a good supply of it..Because we think she is part husky, a nice, fenced yard is preferable. Myah does have a very strong prey drive, and therefore, must go to a home with no other small dogs or cats/small mammals. She is very friendly with people!

Story
Patience and kindness are key, and Bud is ready to unlock a lifetime of loyalty with the right family!Bud arrived at the shelter because his previous family moved out of state and couldn`t take him with them. This transition has been a bit stressful for him, but he`s slowly starting to show his true colors.Bud is a 5-year-old, brindle German Shepherd mix. When he first arrived, he was quite nervous and shut down in the kennels. However, with time and gentle encouragement, he`s slowly opening up, and we`re learning more about his wonderful personality every day! He will absolutely need a home full of patience and kindness to allow him the opportunity to shake off the stress of the shelter environment and truly blossom.According to his previous owners, Bud can be untrusting of strangers, especially men. We are looking for an adopter who understands his protective nature and his need for space when meeting new people. Bud would prefer to be an only dog and would not be suitable for a home with cats or small animals. While he previously lived with children, his former owners recommend he goes to a home with older, dog-savvy kids, if any.Bud is in great health! He is neutered, up to date on core vaccinations, and has received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He`s also microchipped! If you have questions about Bud or our adoption process, feel free to reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also book an appointment on our website to meet with him today!
