Saint Joseph Litter-Sully COH 3 months old | German Shorthaired Pointer–Cane Corso Mix | Neutered Male Loyal from the start and full of that classic puppy goodness—this crew is the real deal. Though they’ve got a mix in their roots, they lean strong into that German Shorthaired Pointer look and spirit: athletic, eager, and ready to bond hard with their people. Story
Meet Betty White Breed: English Pointer / Terrier Mix Sex: Female DOB: March 9, 2021 Weight: 55 Pounds Health: Healthy and doing well Betty White is a beautiful, soulful girl with a heart as big as her smile. At four years old, she has the perfect balance of playful energy and loving companionship. Sadly, Betty White has been waiting at the rescue longer than many of the other dogs — quietly watching as others find homes while she patiently hopes someone will finally notice her. Dogs like Betty White are often the hidden gems of rescue: loyal, loving, and ready to give their whole hearts the moment someone gives them a chance. Personality Betty White is incredibly sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She greets people with a happy wagging tail and a loving nuzzle that instantly makes you feel welcome. She has a playful side and enjoys moments of activity, but she also knows how to settle down and enjoy quiet companionship. Betty White forms strong bonds with her people and is deeply loyal once she feels safe. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or cuddling up after a long day, she offers the kind of steady, comforting companionship that makes a house feel like home. Breed Info English Pointer and Terrier mixes often combine intelligence, curiosity, and devotion. Pointers tend to be affectionate and eager to please, while terriers add alertness, playfulness, and a spirited personality. Dogs with this mix enjoy both physical activity and mental engagement, making them wonderful companions for families who enjoy walks, outdoor time, and shared daily routines. Owner Responsibilities Betty White will thrive with an adopter who can provide daily companionship, regular walks, and opportunities for play and exploration. Positive reinforcement training will help strengthen her confidence and deepen the bond she forms with her new family. Dogs like Betty White do best when they are treated as true members of the household and included in everyday life. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before adopting Betty White, it’s important to think about long-term stability. Are pets allowed where you live now and in the future? If you move, will Betty White move with you? Do you have time each day for companionship, exercise, and engagement? Are you financially prepared for routine veterinary care, food, and unexpected medical needs? Adoption means committing to your dog through every stage of life. Vet Care Even though Betty White is healthy, adopters should establish care with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption. This helps ensure ongoing preventative care and provides a trusted medical partner to support her long-term health. Understanding the 3-3-3 Rule Like most rescue dogs, Betty White will need time to adjust to her new environment. The first 3 days she may feel overwhelmed as she decompresses. The first 3 weeks she will begin learning your routine and feeling more secure. By 3 months, her confidence will grow and her loving personality will truly shine. Patience and consistency during this transition are key to building trust. Why Betty White? Betty White has waited patiently for someone to see the amazing dog she is. She is loving, loyal, playful, and ready to share her life with a family who will appreciate her gentle heart. For the right adopter, Betty White won’t just be a dog — she will be a devoted companion who fills your days with love, laughter, and loyalty. Story
Layka is a delightful young female mixed breed  born August 27, 2021, weighing 50 pounds.  Layka a zest for life and an infectious enthusiasm that will brighten any home. Born with a naturally happy and outgoing personality, Layka thrives on adventure and loves the thrill of exploring new places. Her playful spirit and love for cuddles make her an ideal companion for families who enjoy an active lifestyle and plenty of affection. Layka is best suited for a household where she can be the only dog, allowing her to soak up all the love and attention she deserves. While she is naturally joyful and affectionate, Layka will benefit from socialization and training to help her adjust to her new environment and become the best version of herself. Our In-Home Experience with the Lovely Layka Layka is a delightful and silly girl who will undoubtedly capture your heart, one laugh at a time. From the moment she arrived at our home, her curiosity was evident—she sniffed every inch of the place and quickly decided that the couch was her favorite spot. A Day in the Life of Layka Layka's daily routine is a charming mix of relaxation and playful energy. About 75% of her day is spent as a content couch potato, while the remaining 25% is dedicated to her puppy zoomies, where she eagerly wants to play. Her play mode often involves heading to the backyard for a game of "fetch" with her Kong ball. Fetch deserves quotation marks because, more often than not, Layka ends up throwing the ball in the air herself and chasing it around like an exuberant baby kangaroo. She sprints full speed from one end of the yard to the other, taking frequent pit stops at the kitchen water dish for huge, refreshing slurps. It's essential to have a nice big bowl because Layka loves her water! After about 10-15 minutes of this energetic play, she sprints back inside, bringing her ball to the couch as a signal that she's all tuckered out. A Perfect Work-From-Home Companion I work from home, and Layka has proven to be a wonderful coworker. She spends her time in the living room, keeping an eye on passersby from the window. Every half hour or so, she trots into my office for a brief session of belly rubs and kisses before returning to her relaxing routine. Having Layka around has made my workdays much more enjoyable. Settling In and House Training Layka is house-trained, although she did have a couple of accidents during her first week with us, which we attributed to being in a new environment. She quickly learned to stand by the back door and gaze at us when she wanted to be let outside. Occasionally, she just wanted to enjoy the sunshine. When ready to come back in, she would sit politely at the door and give a short little bark to let us know. Overall, Layka has brought endless joy and laughter into our home. Her playful antics and loving demeanor have made her a beloved member of our household. By welcoming Layka into your home, you're inviting a happy and playful companion into your life. Her adventurous spirit and affectionate nature are sure to fill your days with joy and warmth. If you're ready for a lively and loving furry friend, Layka might just be the perfect match for your family! If interested please go to our website and fill out an application. He’s the kind of dog who greets you with happiness, stays close, and makes you feel like you matter. His love is genuine, steady, and always there. Breed Info As an Australian Shepherd / Dalmatian mix, Benito carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A loyal, people-focused nature A balanced mix of energy and companionship This mix creates a dog who is engaged, loving, and adaptable, happy to be active but also content just being with his people. Ideal Home Benito would do best in a home where he is finally given the love and stability he has been waiting for. He will thrive with a family who includes him in daily life and gives him the attention he deserves. Owner Responsibilities Benito will need regular exercise, routine, and continued care. Like all dogs, he requires structure, guidance, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider He has been waiting longer than most. Please consider opening your home to a dog who truly deserves a chance. Sometimes the ones who wait the longest are the ones who love the hardest. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Benito will finally get the life he’s been waiting for. Veterinary Care Benito is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing him to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue his care. Important Note Benito is an indoor family dog. He is not to be chained or left outside.
