Story
Meet Darla Darla is a 4-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s the kind of dog who becomes your sassy best friend, but she may be a little shy when first meeting new people. With patience and gentle introductions, Darla quickly shows her affectionate and loyal side.Once she bonds with her person, Darla is an absolute cuddle bug who loves being close, relaxing together, and soaking up attention. She enjoys getting out and exploring, whether that’s going for walks, hopping in the car for an adventure, or spending time sniffing new environments. She’s a smart dog who responds well to structure and enjoys learning, especially when treats are involved.Darla would do best in an only-dog home, as she is still working on her manners around other dogs and is most comfortable when she doesn’t have to share her space. She also has some sensitivities and can be uncomfortable around people in uniforms, which can be intimidating for her. A calm, understanding home that can respect her boundaries will help her feel safe and confident.Darla is looking for a patient, kind adopter who will provide consistency, reassurance, and love. In return, she offers loyalty, personality, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re searching for a devoted companion with a little sass and a lot of heart, Darla could be the perfect match.

Story
He's 45 lbs, GSP/Australian Shepherd mix. Est. 2 years old. He is very smart, very alert, loves to explore, sniff, and run around. He loves other dogs and get along with them great. He also likes cats but does need to practice learning the boundary with them. Unsure how he is around kids. Pete is a velcro dog and will hang out by your side all day. He would prefer to tag along with you on your errands and doesn't love being left alone, but with enough treats and a good toy, he mostly does OK when left by himself in an enclosed area. He is eager to learn, loves to train, and is perfect for someone with an active lifestyle.
