Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Story
Looking to re-home our bird dog. Unfortunately, he is not a good fit for our family. We have cats that I have had for for almost 9 years and he is terrorizing them to the point where they won't even come out of hiding to eat or go to the litter boxes, they have lost all quality of life they had. He is very smart and loves to play, he can be an escape artist so may want a heavy duty crate, we had to put carabeaners on ours to keep him from popping up the latches. He is mostly potty trained. By mostly I mean if you let him have free reign in the house you have to just to watch for his cues or he will potty. He barks at anyone and everyone until he gets use to them, but he is just a big baby. He needs to have someone who can get active with him, right now he has lots of pent up energy because he is in the crate 8 hours a day while we are at work.

Story
Max is a nervous fella who has such a wonderful, goofy personality underneath that timid exterior. He is just a little over a year old and came to HES very shut down and unsure of the world. Through time and patience, he's been loosening up and coming to see that humans aren't so scary after all. But get him around other dogs, and his true personality shines through! Max loves other dogs and is such a fun-loving, joyful puppy when he's with his friends. He needs a home with at least 1 other canine companion to provide him the security and comfort he needs to get out of his shell, as well as a playmate to help burn off some of that puppy energy! We think Max would do best in a home with teenage kids and up, and without cats. He needs a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to decompress and come around on his own time, but as long as he has a doggie friend, he's good as gold! If he pulls at your heartstrings and you feel like you have the right home for this handsome young guy, come meet him at HES!

Story
Meet Theo! He is a 3 year old big goofy boy and definitely has some lab in him, but we aren’t actually sure about his breed. He’s 93 pounds and absolutely loves people. Expect lots of butt wiggles from this guy once he gets to know you. I adopted him about five months ago from someone who had an injury and could no longer give him the exercise he needs. As guilty as it makes me feel, I am moving in with my fiancé who doesn't have the space he needs and stressed cats. That being said, he needs a cat that has the ability to tell him off when he tries to play because he will listen and walk away. Great with other dogs especially medium/large dogs that are also respectful. He needs to eat separately since he displays some resource guarding but other than that just like any dog once he gets to know your dog they can play with toys and hang out without supervision. Can include his invisible fence for an added fee, but he will come with his crate, food, collar/accessories, treats, bowls, bed
