Story
Pluto - ID# 20143 - Kennel #313 - Arrived June 20th - Pointer Mix - Brown and White - Female - 6 Months Old - 24 lbs - Estimated Adult Weight 45-60 lbs - Will Be Spayed Prior to Adoption - Up to Date on Vaccines - Heartworm Negative Pluto is a six-month-old brown and white Pointer mix with all the hallmarks of a German Shorthaired Pointer - that stunning chocolate and white coat, a delicate white blaze down her face, white paws, and the kind of elegant, refined build that makes this breed so breathtaking. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 20th and this simply adorable, super sweet girl is already winning hearts. At 24 lbs and just six months old she is still very much a puppy - with an estimated adult weight of 45 to 60 lbs, there is a lot of beautiful dog still to come. Pluto is dog friendly, good with children, eager to please, and will already sit for treats - which at six months old is a wonderful foundation and a clear sign of just how quick to learn she is going to be. German Shorthaired Pointer mixes are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and deep desire to work alongside their people, and Pluto has all of that written all over her. At just six months old Pluto is at the very beginning of her story - full of potential, full of sweetness, and full of the boundless puppy energy that makes every day feel like an adventure. Whoever brings her home will have the joy of watching her grow from this gorgeous, gangly puppy into the magnificent dog she is already on her way to becoming. Pluto is adorable, sweet, and ready to learn everything her new family is willing to teach her. She is waiting in Kennel #313 with those big brown eyes and that stunning chocolate coat, ready to run straight into the heart of whoever is lucky enough to choose her. Come meet her - that sweet puppy face will make the decision for you. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. Story
Meet Theo! He is a 3 year old big goofy boy and definitely has some lab in him, but we aren’t actually sure about his breed. He’s 93 pounds and absolutely loves people. Expect lots of butt wiggles from this guy once he gets to know you. I adopted him about five months ago from someone who had an injury and could no longer give him the exercise he needs. As guilty as it makes me feel, I am moving in with my fiancé who doesn't have the space he needs and stressed cats. That being said, he needs a cat that has the ability to tell him off when he tries to play because he will listen and walk away. Great with other dogs especially medium/large dogs that are also respectful. He needs to eat separately since he displays some resource guarding but other than that just like any dog once he gets to know your dog they can play with toys and hang out without supervision. Can include his invisible fence for an added fee, but he will come with his crate, food, collar/accessories, treats, bowls, bed
