Story
Looking to re-home our bird dog. Unfortunately, he is not a good fit for our family. We have cats that I have had for for almost 9 years and he is terrorizing them to the point where they won't even come out of hiding to eat or go to the litter boxes, they have lost all quality of life they had. He is very smart and loves to play, he can be an escape artist so may want a heavy duty crate, we had to put carabeaners on ours to keep him from popping up the latches. He is mostly potty trained. By mostly I mean if you let him have free reign in the house you have to just to watch for his cues or he will potty. He barks at anyone and everyone until he gets use to them, but he is just a big baby. He needs to have someone who can get active with him, right now he has lots of pent up energy because he is in the crate 8 hours a day while we are at work.

Story
Hi, I’m Pixie — Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Comedian I may be part German Shorthaired Pointer and part Blue Heeler (with a few mystery sprinkles mixed in), but don’t let that fool you—I’m more of a cuddle-on-the-couch than run-a-marathon kind of girl. At just two years old, I’ve already perfected my skills: loving kids, making friends with other dogs, giving cats their personal space, and keeping your house accident-free. I’ve got the smarts from my Pointer side and the loyalty from my Heeler roots, but what I really bring to the table is warmth. Think of me as your furry weighted blanket with a tail wag. So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect best friend—sweet, social, and snuggly—well… I’m right here. Now let’s go home and claim our spot on the couch. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2507063##

Story
German Shorthaired Pointer Pup looking for forever home!!! This baby deserves her forever home, and she will make an amazing addition! Oakley is a 10 week old female GSP puppy rescued by Castoff Pet Rescue. She is a doll baby, with so much love to give. She is in a foster home with her sister, 3 other dogs and 4 cats and she is wonderful with everyone. She is currently about 10 pounds and we think she will grow to about 40 pounds when full grown. She has lots of adorable wrinkles she needs to grow into. Oakley is a bundle of affection with the most expressive eyes you’ve ever seen. While she has plenty of that puppy energy. Oakley thrives on human connection. She’s a quick learner who is already mastering the art of the 'check-in' during play. Oakley would love a home where she can be a true member of the family—involved in the daily action and ending every night curled up as close to her humans as possible. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart companion who loves as hard as she plays, Oakley is your girl."
