Story
Meet Kip – A Sweet, Snuggly Pup with a Big Heart (and a Brave Spirit!) Kip is as cute as they come and has the sweetest soul to match. This handsome young pup absolutely adores being around his people—cuddles, belly rubs, and quality time are high on his list of favorite things. He's also a big fan of snacks (who isn't?), which makes him extra motivated to learn and bond. Kip is already potty-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He'd love a home with another dog to keep him company, a yard to romp around in, and plenty of toys and chew bones to keep him happy. Kip is preparing for leg surgery in the coming months, and while he has a road to recovery ahead, he's facing it with tail wags and bravery. TSDP will cover all medical expenses during this process—all he needs is a compassionate adopter or foster-to-adopt home willing to offer stability, love, and a little extra patience as he heals and regains his strength. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a truly special pup and be part of his healing journey, Kip will reward you with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and snuggles. Story
Remy is an incredibly sweet, loving, and cuddly girl with a heart of gold. She’s extremely friendly, wonderful with children, and gets along beautifully with other dogs—there’s truly not an aggressive bone in her body. Any family lucky enough to welcome Remy into their lives has truly hit the jackpot. As a pure breed GSP, she thrives on outdoor adventure and daily exercise—long walks, off-leash runs, and exploring nature are her absolute favorite. Remy would do best with a family who has the time to spend with her and the space for her to roam freely. A home with a yard, some land, and maybe even a pool would be her dream come true. We adore Remy, but with a small home and a new baby on the way this October, we can’t give her the time, space, and attention she deserves. We’re looking for a loving, active family who can offer her the joyful, stimulating life she was made for. If you're ready to welcome the sweetest companion into your life, we'd love to hear from you.

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Dunlin is a 2.5 year old, 50 lb German Shorthair Pointer mix. This beautiful girl has a sweet temperament, along with a lot of energy. Dunlin loves running around outside, but she also has her chill side when she enjoys hanging out on the couch. Her most favorite thing is just being where her people are. She will actually sit with them and watch TV. She still likes to chew and will need durable chew toys. Dunlin is smart and already knows the sit, lay down, stay, and shake commands. She gets along with other dogs around her size and should do well with kids over the age of 10. Dunlin can jump really high, especially when she sees a bird, so she needs a yard with at least a secure 6' fence (and no pet birds!). Please submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

German Shorthaired Pointer

Male, 1 yr 10 mos
Kaufman, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Petey walked onto a property in the country one day and let everybody know that he was not just visiting, but really intended to stay. This would have been perfectly fine with the human residents, but they want Petey to have the best possible life and felt this high energy young man needed to have someone younger than they are. GSP's are wonderful dogs who are very lovable and loving and are very trainable. They do have a high energy level and usually a strong prey drive. Training is definitely a must. They will reward you with unconditional love and loyalty.
