The staff asked for help because they were full and would have to make room - he was skinny with a bad skin infection so continued medical attention was needed. He has gained weight, his fur has grown back and he has healed completely. He required antibiotics and medicated shampoo to address the skin infection and inflammation in his paws.

He came to us as a puppy and was adopted but returned several years later due to anxiety around the young toddler in the home. Marley is friendly with other dogs, has lived without issues with cats, and is a loyal companion to his people. He is discerning with new people but not reactive. He is nervous with small children who don't respect his space. He is house-trained, crate-trained and has good basic obedience training. Story
Meet Olive – A Sweet, Energetic German Shorthaired Pointer Looking for Her Forever Home. Olive is a gorgeous 7-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. She’s smart, affectionate, and always up for an adventure! This girl thrives with activity—whether it’s running around a yard, joining you on hikes, or playing fetch. Olive would be an amazing companion for an active person or family, especially one with a fenced yard and plenty of time to play. She absolutely adores kids, and her joyful, energetic nature makes her the perfect family dog. Despite her energy outdoors, Olive knows how to settle down and just chill at home. She’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s near her people. While she’d be great as an only dog, she also does well with other pups who can match her energy and playfulness.

Story
This is Brida. She was rescued from the Everett Animal Shelter after her previous family gave her up after a divorce due to domestic violence and neither side could keep her. She has a wonderful disposition and wants to play. Her German Shorthaired Pointer (from Wisdom Panel report) comes through strong. She has great field vision and loves to follow her nose. Her prey-drive translates nicely to playing fetch with a ball and she'll play all day long if you'd let her. She currently lives with a cat (with a strong personality) and she respects it. She likes to play with other dogs still needs practice because if another dog plays to rough, she'll get upset and need a time out. Her ideal family would be either someone with active kids, or someone who is active. A GSP needs more activity and stimulation than ordinary dogs. Brida has never translated lack of activity to destructive behavior, but her eyes begging for attention and activity can destroy a heart, so be ready to play!

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
