Story
Beautiful Kate is approx 3yrs old and weighs just over 50lbs. She is a very friendly girl that has been in foster for far too long. She should have her own, forever home! She is a wonderful girl that will do best with a person or family that will take her on lots of long walks and hiking. She’s always up for a new adventure. When she’s home, she’s an easy going girl that will hang out with the other dogs or just nap at the feet of her person. She is wonderful with dogs of all sizes so another dog in the home would be just fine, but it’s not required. Although she is a little interested in cats, she’s doing ok with the residents kitties, too. She will do best with Pointer experienced people that will take her on breed appropriate activities. She is also very friendly so a socially active home would also be ideal. Kate is fully crate and house trained so she can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of time. She is doing awesome with her leash skills and other basic manners and commands. She must have a 6ft or higher securely fenced yard.   If are interested in meeting this beautiful sweet girl please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.February 24, 2024, 8:54 pm

Story
This cutie is Cupid. He’s the smallest of his siblings and believed to be a mixed breed, but with rescue it’s always a guess and fun to see them grow into a beautiful dog! What matters most is that Cupid is totally are adorable. Cupid is extremely Sweet and loving he likes to be cuddled and pet. He’s one of the smartest, he catches on fast to routines. He’s playful too. He loves to play with his siblings but because of his size he tends to get run over. He’s fine though he picks up and keeps going. Cupid loves toys, chewing on his toys and sleeps with at least one sibling in his kennel. Cupid and his siblings are good with kids, cats, and other dogs. They are working Kennel trained and working on house training. They get measured meals throughout the day and no one eats past 6:30 pm, which has really helped with the house training. They are using puppy pads through the night. The puppies in our organization are some of the MOST desperate in the entire US. Based on statistics for Houston and surrounding areas of Texas, shelters in this area are so overcrowded, they are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Cupid is still young, this means he’ll need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with house and crate training, give daily exercise and help them grow to a balanced dog. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/655cce1945fb82219107d6e5 Please email michelleboswell@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is ______ and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Roo is looking for a foster to adopt home! Roo is a beacon of happiness, always radiating joy and enthusiasm. Her exuberance for life is evident in her wiggly and energetic nature, often hopping around like a playful goat when she is excited. Despite having some special medical needs, Roo has overcome challenges with resilience and is now seeking the perfect home to share her boundless joy. Roo's absolute favorite thing is playing with her beloved ball. Witnessing her enthusiasm is a true delight, and when her beloved ball rolls under furniture, she will let you know as she grumbles determinedly to retrieve it. Adorable!  This spirited pup loves meeting new people and is sure to bring a smile to your face with her silly antics. She's great in the car and, when she is ready to relax, she transforms into a cuddle bug!  Roo, our resilient little nugget, faces some unique medical challenges that are believed to stem from a combination of mechanical and neurological issues.  According to her neurologist, Roo has evidence of a skull malformation, likely from birth, causing her to be unable to open or close her jaw completely. She also has bilateral trigeminal neuropathy (big words for such a small babe!) which contributes to the lack of range of motion in her jaw as well as affecting sensation in her face and her eyes.  Due to the lack of sensation in her eyes, she requires daily eye drops and will need one of her eyes removed when she is a bit older.  Roo also needs softened food since she can’t chew properly.  While Roo is still in the learning phase, she's making great strides in basic training and manners. She's working on house training and does great in her crate. Her playfulness can sometimes translate into being a bit mouthy, so she's best suited for a home with older kids. Because Roo is not medically cleared yet, we are looking to place her in a foster to adopt home so we can continue providing her care until she has surgery in mid-2024. We will provide all vet care for Roo until she is adopted. A foster-to-adopt home should be in the greater Seattle area or the Tri Cities area. Roo was born in May of 2023, so is still a pup, is a German Shorthaired Pointer, and currently weighs in at about 20 pounds. If interested in adding this super special girl to your family, please fill out an application at https://www.forgottendogsrescue.com/adoption-application See more photos of Roo on her Facebook album! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.687391840097173&type=3 ##1777829##

Story
Charlotte is a sweet girl, it would be wonderful to hear that she's not only physically healthy but also emotionally thriving in her loving family. Her intelligence and sociable nature make her a great companion for both other dogs and children. Finding an active home that loves big dogs sounds like the perfect fit for Charlotte. Big dogs often require more exercise and mental stimulation, so an active household would provide her with the engagement and playtime she needs to stay happy and fulfilled. Looking for that home here!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
